No issues yet, been several days.

I've heard there are issues with the alarm app and it not going off at the correct time.

    Can you comment on that?

I haven't had that issue, I've had a random reboot here and there, but none of the sms issues. Looks like they finally figured out what the issue with the radio was and got it working on all recent builds.

Does 2582 seem to be the best stable/most reliable leak so far? Are there anymore Verizon Z30 user's out there with recent feedback?

I'm finding better signal strength on 281. No sms issues, no reboots. Having trouble updating one of my android apps through Snap, but otherwise very good. Came from 2582.

I've been using 10.3.1.2582 with the .2583 radio for a couple of weeks now. I thought the text issue was finally solved, but I tried to send a text to an iPhone friend and it would not go through - same red error messages I was getting all the time with older OS's. Tried on my other half's Z30 too with the same OS and it didn't go through either.

Oddly, all other texts I've sent to all other friends have not had any problem at all. Not sure why I'd have this problem with just this one person. Very odd.

I don't want to downgrade the radio because when I do, no one can hear me on the other end of a phone conversation. The newer OS's seem to have solved that problem.

UPDATE: Not my phone's issue. It's his iPhone. He's been having problems texting with it all of a sudden. I think the Verizon text issue has been solved with this most current OS update.

Funny you should ask. It indeed is NOT an issue with my Z30. I just called him and asked him about it and he said his POS iPhone won't text to the marjority of his friends - me included. I told him to get a BlackBerry.

Something to do with iMessage. I don't have iDevices but read about texting issues with them if you don't do something. I could be mistaken on that too, maybe it was if you leave iDevices for something else.

It is definitely if you leave iPhone for something else. You were unable to text other iPhone users because those messages were trying to go through as iMessages and would just be lost. However, I think Apple resolved that issue and now also provide a method to release your number from the iMessage purgatory.

Here's my experience with my Vzw Z30. I've had lots of various radio/OS problems on almost every 10.3.1 release until I installed 2708 OS/2709 Radio. Mine has been very stable ever since. No dropped calls, SMS seems to work great, my WiFi dropping out and disabling profiles has stopped, and the battery life has been very good. I've been using it for several weeks now, and I'm quite happy with it. I may try 10.3.2 when it goes past .999, but until then, I'm probably going to stick with 10.3.1.2708/2709. I really can't figure out why there are so many different results with the same phones. It would seem to me that all Verizon Z30's should be exactly the same and behave the same for everyone, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I would research 2708/2709 if you are really considering using a leak.

So I've been using 10.3.1.2726 with radio version 2727 for well over a month with almost no problems on Verizon.

However, last week I did have two phone calls that suddenly went silent in the middle of a call. The call stayed connected, but I could not hear the other person a few minutes into our conversation.

Does anyone have any feedback on newer leaks that are more stable?

On a side note, I am on a part of the beta program using the latest blend on my pc.

If you are ready to jump to 10.3.2 the last official release for the Verizon Classic also works for the Verizon Z30. It is OS 10.3.2.840 (sw release 10.3.2.544) and it works very well. If you plug your Z30 into Sachesi, that version should come up when you do a search and you can load the non-destructive official release. Be warned though, once you jump to 10.3.2 you can't move back down to 10.3.1. This is part of a new security feature by Blackberry.

Besides the new security feature, Is 10.3.2 any better or more stable than 10.3.1?

Yea there are a lot of little tweaks to the UI and UX like the option to know choose whether or not the calendar does dots and squares or vertical bars... there's more but they escape my mind since I'm fried from work. Also my signal is better in almost every place I notice

For me, so far everything seems to be running smoother and the battery life is also much better. The Android runtime is also faster and the advanced interactions are working now also.

Determining that VZ was not going to be overly proactive, I updated my STA100-3 to 10.3.2.2204 from the stock OS using an autoloader from release 2134 and radio 2205. The update experience was drama free - took about 30-40 mins - and corrected some nagging glitches, such as not being able to see recent photos I had taken in the pix folder. The things I have been able to check against previous baselines: wi-fi, battery, reception, call integrity, data speeds, all appear to be marginally to notably better, especially battery life. Enjoy being able to assign LED colors to important texts and calls. I also side-loaded the flash browser. I am not really obsessed with installing the latest OS release, but I am handy with a Hakko and spend way too much time reworking SMD stuff. So for me, installing this release using a high quality cable and Windows 7 x64 was a seamless experience and thus far, positive.
