I have searched these threads and found mixed results about the best combo to use on Verizon's Z30.

I just want the most stable combination of leak/radio possible.

Last week I was using 1949/939, but my battery would getting flaming hot when I was in an area with poor reception.

For anyone using Verizon's network with the Z30, please let me know what combination leak/radio seems to give you the best experience.

    Period.

The official OS update (including VZW) is due out in the next few weeks, be patient Grasshopper........

Leaks almost always have issues, some big, some small......

I'm on Z30STA100-3/10.3.1.2072. So far so good. Was on 1949 and 2073 for awhile before, no issues... some missing features like data counter, but others report no issues.. so you never know. As far as OS, no probs...

    Thanks for the feedback.

I agree that the stock OS is most stable, but my goal was to hear from as many people as possible who are using a Verizon Z30 on Verizon's network in order to see which leak seamed to be most stable/solid.

Ugh, I saw that poll, but a whole 4 people have actually clicked on something to share their experience.

Thanks for trying to help though.

It's mixed. It's all over the place too.. Some say the 2073 radio some say the 939 radio some say the 1005 radio. It's just one of those things where you are going to have to see what works best for you in your area.

That's true, bro. For me in my country, 1155 radio version seems to be suitable with OS 2072 for better signal reception.

If you go to the OS archive sticky, every OS and radio will be there. Find the right combination for you.

All this instability doesn't help either though.

What if you travel out of town? How will your phone react then?

Personally, I gave up and stuck to the stock 10.2.1.x released by VZW - too much uncertainty.

Also, mixing radios isn't best practice. Normally, the radio should be appropriately paired up with the OS version. For example: OS 10.2.1.1777 OS and 10.2.1.1778 radio.

Thanks so much for all the feedback thus far.

As I stated at the beginning of this thread: I was looking to hear back from people who are using a Verizon Z30 on Verizon's network.
Is there anyone out there on Verizon who is having a great experience with 10.3.1 on Verizon's network? And if so, which combination are you using?

Try the newest that is available (2072) and see how it works for you.

I am using a Verizon Z30 on the Verizon network. Haha I haven't had a good stable 10.3.1 experience to date. I have had problems with every single build. Of you load 10.3.1 of any version.

    You can expect things like,
    Visual voice mail not working.
    Calls dropping
    Network errors while making calls
    Text/sms issues.

And those are just the off the top of my head hot topics. There are more minor glitches.

But it's expected with leaks. Personally the best one so far for me is the latest leak. After settling in it has been working. When I'm traveling and switching radio towers I still get errors though.

I have the SMS problem with every radio past 939 on my Z30 on Verizon. I try them all out with the updated radio but then have delivery or "general problems". Today I had problems calling with the 2073 radio so I downgraded to the 939 radio and haven't had any issues yet. I personally think 939 is the most stable LEAK radio out for the 10.3.1 releases.

I am using 1949 with the 1005 radio. So far no SMS/MMS issues and no more call failure issues. I am in upstate NY however. I never had network failure issues BTW until I moved from 1154.

That was the most stable OS in my opinion but was a memory drainer...kinda like 1949.

I ran OS 2072/2073 radio (via autoloader) for a while. The OS is solid (no issues for me), but the 2073 radio wasn't the best from my experience. I would get the "network busy" almost every time I tried to place a call. I had to toggle the mobile network off and on to get it to work. Last week I loaded the 1005 radio via autoloader and haven't had any issues so far. Text messages are also working. I haven't had the need to reboot the phone. Previous leaks would require a reboot about every other day. My battery life has been excellent. My vote is for OS 2072/1005 radio combo. I'm running a Verizon Z30.

i have been using the 2073 radio over 10.3.1.1949 since the radio's been leaked and have no issues with texts or phone calls. however on reboot, sometimes my accounts (email, facebook) don't automatically log themselves in. so i reboot with wifi enabled and that seems to fix it. also, some of my customized notification ring tones go back to the phones default on reboot. i'm happy with the performance overall and battery life. verizon z30 in washington dc user here.

939 has been the only one for me so far. All others eventually have the sms issue. Some happen right away others took a week or so. It is solved by turning the radio off and then on again, but the issue is you never know when it is happening. Because you don't receive anything. And I hate that they do not go thru eventually when it is working. Do those texts just vanish into thin air?

Have you been using this setup for a while? Also, does your phone ever get hot when you're in an area with low signal?
