What is the best radio file for Verizon STL100-4, Z10? I used Sachesi 310 Country, 160 Carrier (T-Mobile), STL100-3, nondestructive method to upgrade to 10.2.1.2228 from 10.2.1.1925. Is there a better radio file than the 2229 one, specifically for Verizon users?

I have a Verizon Z30 and experienced poorer voice quality and slower network data speeds on the T-Mobile firmware update released this week. So, I reverted to the .2142 radio version using these instructions from the Z10/Q10/Z30 radio thread -- I definitely have better voice quality and network data speeds with the .2142 radio.

Battery dropped a bit after installing the VZW Radio file with Sachesi.
Will give it a bit to settle in. Don't foresee any problems. Thanks.

Funny thing is, if there are any differences between the STL100-2/3 and the STL100-4 radio, they aren't in the radio file itself. There's a grand total of six bytes difference between the two files, and it's only in whether or not the application identifier ends in "-omadm".

Of course, if anyone finds any differences on Verizon between the two, please, let us know.

1944 bytes larger for VZW for what I have. Now you made me curious.

I switched to the 2229 radio from inside the 10.2.1.2228 STL100-4 autoloader (but kept the 1925 OS), and it's working great. Battery may be a bit worse, but the 1926 radio was dropping to 3G constantly and the new radio stays on 4G LTE with no problems.
