I expect this will be sorted on a later build. This is the first build where we've actually seen any functionality at all...and it is obviously still under development.
I always get the lock screen notifications.

This new OS is kicking **** so far. I know it hasn't been very long, but it is leaps and bounds better than 810, which makes sense. Thanks again to the Elite team

HELP! I went through all the steps as usual to autoload this new OS and it worked well. I went for the preferred Security Wipe right after the setup and now the phone is stuck in the wipe. It just shows some white symbol and the little blue circle which just keeps spinning. What do I do?:

Ive tried pulling the battery. It turned off the phone but when I put the battery back in it just went back to the same screen it was stuck on before.
You shouldn't have pulled the battery... the screen wasn't stuck...

Is there anyway to enable the black background that the text messages had on the Q10?, it's white now with this update.

I loaded 1047 this morning and had a couple of glitches worth reporting. I backup via BBLink, ran the autoloader, went through the setup without signing into BB ID, did a security wipe and the went through setup again

Glitch 1 - Could not sign into BB ID, during setup pressed the button and nothing happened Carried on with the rest of the setup and then went into settings to sign into BB ID and the sign in screen did not come up After a while (30 seconds or so) an error message popped up sayin something like "An unexpected error occurred" with an OK button. Clicking the OK button took me back to the initial BB ID screen.

    So I reloaded the OS
Did not bother with a security wipe just went through full set up and BB ID sign in worked OK

Glitch 2 - Could not restore using the backup I made this morning. It would fail without even a partial restore happening Fortunately I had a backup from when I loaded 810. Tried it and it restored no problem.

Glitch 3 - When i went to put in my passwords for my e-mail accounts (both yahoo, one mail only, the other mail, calendar and contacts), it would not accept the password for the contacts portion only. Solved that by deleting the BB info in the Yahoo account settings and adding the password via settings/accounts.

All in all not a super smooth install, but no biggies. Just letting things settle down, but looks good fast and smooth.

Thanks to the OS Elite Team, great job.

Loaded works awesome, no excessive drain or over heating and the new message preview are excellent.

Yeah, I got it installed last night. *disclaimer, if you're upgrading your OS and wear glasses, please wear them because some numbers tend to move on you.....especially while drinking Scotch.* Anyway, noticed the heat for a short period. After adding my apps last night, a took the battery out and let the BlackBerry and battery cool down more before putting the battery back in. It's not necessary, but it's an old habit I do after upgrading. Also, I honestly believe my battery works better without Battery Guru.

sent thru my BlackBerry on OS Thanks Elite Team!

    This release is still buggy:
    1. Sharing articles from RSS Feed to BBM contacts using GReader does not work but sharing from GReader to other apps like whatsapp, remember, etc works just fine. Must be BBM then.
    2. Hub is showing there is notification for bbm. But checking bbm, there is no new message. Not even a chat in a group. Turns out to be a comment made on a picture on a bbm group. Imagine you have 10 or more groups with hundreds of pictures, trying to figure out which is causing the notification in the hub can be a daunting task and certainly not productive at all! And worst is there is no way you can tell from the Hub.

2 most wanted features are still not implemented:
    1. Call blocker API
    2. Fix the crazy autolinking problem on multiple contact lists/sources upon creating a new contact.

I think Blackberry needs to address well known bugs first before introducing new features which are also adding more bugs.

    Posted via CB10
You can turn off the picture comment in the group setting so it won't show in hub.

    how can i do it?
When you're (re)creating your email account, there is an option at the bottom of the email settings (where one puts domain settings, sync intervals, push option, etc.) to select initial retrieval amount. Setting it to "Forever" gives you, well, everything.

Where did print to go went? Or is missing just for me?
No print to go in this build. I believe someone posted a link if you want it. Nice find on the auto reply settings.

NOTE: Print To Go is missing from this release. If you want it, here's the .bar from .810:

This seems very Wolfram Alpha-my to me.
Also, it reads "Wolfram Alpha" at the bottom (not visible on he screenshot).

So far, this experience is much, MUCH more pleasant than the install process. Install went smooth, as always. Did initial setup followed by security wipe. Then re-did initial setup, including signing in to BBID, and started restore (coming from So far, it hasn't fought me at all during restore process, it's 53% complete.

Thanks to the Elite Team! Good job. It's much appreciated. Keep 'em coming.

I see, well looks like it uses Wolfram Alpha after all, but still it has less functionality than the one from 483 leak.
Agreed. Would love to try that bar, but I can not locate the link for that leak anymore to extract the bar. The one "supposed" mirror a 3 part rar was not only entirely fubarred, but the loader trys to install allot of spy/ ad ware.

Out of curiosity, is a "Forever" option planned for POP email, or is there some limitation with POP that wouldn't allow that? I don't use POP myself, I'm just wondering - the option is there for IMAP and ActiveSync, but not seeing anything past 30 days for POP.

Dont understand why the constant appearance of the grey bar on android port apps. For z10 that is still ok but for q10 on an already small screen that is just reducing the screen estate even more!
