Thanks again Guys for the test drive- too many bugs and features not working like Hotspot- so I'm back to 10.1.0.4687. 2.0 is not yet ready for primetime- and apps I like won't run properly on it either-

I do look forward to a true 2.0 version with the proper runtime-!

Scrolling in the browser on text heavy pages is stuttering for me, especially compared to previous 10.1 builds. I've already wiped and reflashed twice, but problem persists. I'm on a STL100-1. Is anyone else having this issue?

Is anyone having issues with WIFI? It will be connected to my network but if the phone sits idle for a while the wifi locks up. It says that it's still connected but won't launch.

Yes a few times, just toggle airplane mode on/off and reconnect usually does the trick...

Maybe they shouldn't have butchered BB10 on Playbook then..

I was thinking the same thing about the PlayBook, not the butchering thing, but that it can run bb10. I'd love it if we'd even get a small update to sort out the general sluggishness of the Pb. But that's got another thread.

I'm loving 10.2 and haven't had any issues at all. Install went smooth and the restore went without a hitch, just had to sign back into all my accounts and it worked great.

Haha..made ya laugh. Don't worry...10.2.0.1047 is so smooth BerryLeaks Nation is too busy playing with it and nobody has asked for a new leak yet. They won't take it seriously, I was just messing around with recent news.
Uhhh... I asked for a new leak a few pages ago. I'm bored with this one.. ;D

Ok... So I'm confused with some posts here...

So now holding down the volume buttons doesn't really give it a full reboot? Or does it?

To my knowledge it did but some are saying no now... So what's the deal?

A debatable issue. Many swear by it. Devs claim to use it for that purpose. The self proclaimed experts here claim it does a full reboot (hard) as well.

I am not convinced either way. I am done with battery pulls except in extreme cases of bricking, so I am sticking with the power button hold for roughly 20 seconds for a reset.

Until I can fully understand the rom on BB10 I will do it this way. Anybody who leaks and wipes will notice certain things remain in nvram or bios equivalent as well.

It's absolutely not debatable, and not opinion based, brush up on your QNX and you'll understand the fact...

Actually, installing the Android apps via Sachesi triggers the application permission page and the therefore gets in the phone's "registry".

Thanks KWM - I will take it under advisement. And yes, I have and will continue to do so.

I will continue to chop up this OS just like I did/do my 2 year old PB.

It's an overall thing, just because many wouldn't exceed the RAM limitations, that's not the only issue, but let's not get into that here, I just wanted to clear up that "things" aren't that simple...

Ignoring official documentation for software, hardware, et cetera, invites destruction not contruction, again this is fact, it's not an opinion, and that's all I'm saying on this, we've covered it too much in too much detail. I cannot educate those who insist that everything is an "opinion" sometimes we are just dead wrong, including me, this isn't one of those many times though...

one question: I have noticed that a hard reset (w vol keys) takes varying times to reach the BlackBerry logo....is that b/c of differing size of the memory dumps?

Also the volume up and down keys don't work for the stl 100-1 phones with regard to hard reboots, but it is written in the FAQ by the BL team
