Thx thurask! In truth, this OS team's what makes the product such a great headspace....and BlackBerry knows this. At least I sincerely hope they do.

Make the leap of faith on 10.2.0.1047!

Smooth as butta, fast as all hell. And still high demands on battery drain, but expect that'll settle soon.

Thanks thurask, Kris, kwm, mecca et al. The elite team has clearly earned the title. You guys are an inspiration, and make me proud to be here.

Will monitor more over the next few days, play w new features, and fill out that Google doc which is also the bomb diggity!

I'ma be updating all my company's Q10's in the next few days, after I test this a bit more. But once I explained battery life, speed + LTE signal increases, all reservations about the "leaked" nature of this faded pronto!!

Cheers, one and all! Very please so far.

I've had a few random reboots.

I'm not rolling back though. Look forward to a more stable release though.

but you would still need the blackberry drivers and device manager supporting blackberry 10 on your computer, for which you might have to install link. not necessarily use it though.
Yeah I think so. I don't have a device password so I won't need the link for that. It says "cannot find (or connect) blackberry device manager" when the black screen opens then it closes down...
Hope I can get away with this by installing the BlackBerry Link in that laptop then re-do the OS update.
    Thanks!

Yeah. But the installation of link will install the BlackBerry device manager along with it so that the computer can connect to your device.

Ya but remember. 1047 was out pretty quick. Just sayin. I don't think they had it that long. Or maybe they did....
Yeah, we tested 1047 for two weeks just cheated with time traveling machine. We had to because the stupid build's date is July 30th and we dropped it on Aug 2nd.

Just a gentle reminder, when Kris installed the leak was around noon his time and we didn't have radio, then a few hours later like 4-5 we had full OSes and we dropped ASAP. Also, when the thread was opened we haven't finished all the uploads.

If the next one is a gold, it would have already been tested by BlackBerry

Wanted to thank you guys for this great release! Running it since last weekend and I'm pleased with how good it is. It's even more fluent then 810, especially the Android runtime.

One thing I read about but didn't see in my Z10 is the new quick settings menu with more options. I skimmed through the text here, so I don't know if this has been asked before. Does anyone have the new quick settings menu?

    Cheers

So I was initially hesitant to install a leak but due to the good reviews by those who already installed it and being a curious person that I am, I gave it a try. I installed the 10.2 autoloader and was surprised on the Z10's performance. It runs more smoothly and the new features are definitely something. I have one question, though. How do you revert back to the last official OS? It seems like BlackBerry Link's Reload Device Software isn't responding. Do I have to intentionally brick my phone?
