I use Ghost Commander or Task Manager to handle rogue Android apps in background.
An alternative will be Fast Reboot. It allows to pick which apps not to be killed in the exclusive list when screen locked or unlocked or both. If no app in the exclusive list then all app will be killed when the stage of screen is changed.

My Version -3 is getting not-so-excellent battery life as compared to previous 1047 leak.
Wonder what the difference is. A lot of my day is in wi-fi coverage.

Based on my observations to date, I believe it to be because Radio 1444 bundled in this build does not communicate efficiently with its intended cell network or wi-fi receptors !! Therefore it has trouble connecting and in doing so uses more power In the process, thus it drains the battery faster. That's my theory right now.

First attempted with the 10.2 OS and so far I like the new features in the HUB with priority. I don't run the Android runtime but I'm going to give it a try. I was able to restore my backups individually as different backups for settings and media. Saves a lot of time. No problems restoring from 10.1 to 10.2

    Thank you BerryLeaks

After a week using this leak, I have to say that the battery life is infinitely better than both stock or. 1047.

I'm getting nearly twice the battery life (9 hours) than I was over stuck with nearly identical use. After the first two days, the battery life has gotten progressively better each day.

I've only had "heating" issues twice and immediately rebooted both times. On stock, my phone could regularly cook eggs.

Just my experience so far. . . .

    I'm on a Verizon Q10.

I keep seeing a lot of batt "issues" the longer. One runs on this, the better I'm getting. It's 930 by me now, been off charger since 9am, just near the 20%warning and had pretty moderate use, several pics taken which is normally a killer on my Z. Plus it's much smoother, just missing the squircle

    Posted via CB10
Definitely agree with you, the longer it runs the better the battery life gets. And yes, it's the smoothest leak yet.

I'll do what I can, keep in mind as far as I can tell I'm not doing anything special. Including screenshots just in case there's something in one or two that could shed some light on anything.

So then. Step one, we all know.

    Attachment 197817

Input email address, press Next, watch the anim for a moment or two.

    Attachment 197818

    Attachment 197819

Landing at the Google login screen, email is filled in, fill in Password field with your actual gmail password, then press Submit on the keyboard or the Sign in button on screen.

    Attachment 197820

From there we land at the 2-step verification page, where a text should be sent out with a 6-digit code. Once that's entered, press Submit on the keyboard or Verify on the screen

    Attachment 197821

Press Accept at the next screen, then it'll save and verify.

    Attachment 197822

    Attachment 197823

Now back at the Add Account screen, depending on the address I adjust the sync settings right here but leave Description alone and then press Advanced at the bottom of the screen:

    Attachment 197824

In the Advanced (IMAP) screen, I add Description, Display Name, then scroll to the bottom and change Sync Interval to 24 hours, and Initial Retrieval Amount depending on the address I'm adding. I leave everything else alone. After everything's set, hit Done and it'll do the saving and verifying bit; and wind up back at the accounts list screen.

Haven't had time to read through all these pages but have others been experience constant reboots with this leak? I notice it especially if I knock my phone on my desk, it reboots. Or shake it really hard. I had no had this issue until I loaded this OS... but it seems odd to be a software issue.

I have had this issue too but I do not think it is related to the leaks. Happened to me as well on stock OS.

one little quirk with bluetooth is the option to unset your vehicle, doesn't exist in this build neither does the side bar when you press your vehicle, but the good news is it doesn't constantly go into sleep mode either so all is good as far as I'm concerned

I've been very busy lately so I haven't had much time to mess around with leaks, but today I finally found the time to load this latest leak - this time onto my new Q5. So far it's excellent. I do wish they retained the squircle of course, but this new loading circle isn't too bad. Thanks for the leak!

If it makes you feel validated in any way, I had this problem with all the 10.0 OSs until 10.1 came out. I thought I had a lemon phone at first, but after it seemed to be a Software issue.

I haven't tried this release, so you're on your own there.

I've had this problem. Sometimes you have to reboot your PC after turning off Link. Even after doing so, I've had it take up to 14 resets before the autoloader actually kicks in and gives me the green light.

On this particular update, it's gone to over 20 resets and still no luck, but I'll try again later.
Update, in case anyone else is getting stuck in the resetting loop: I shut down the autoloader, ran CCLeaner on my PC, rebooted and tried again. This time the autoloader worked on the first try. My guess is that if there's enough junk in the PC registry it throws the timing of the autoloader off.

I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but I noticed when I start a sentence with "Well" the auto correct changes it to "We'll" and when I start with "Or", it changes it to "OR". So I went to the settings to try and change it, but neither words were in the word substitution page.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a flaw in the OS?

Most likely this is learned behaviour from what you've previously typed. If it persists I'd be inclined to "clear learnt words" in Settings.

Has anyone noticed blue tooth audio streaming is all choppy and cuts out on this leak. I was on 1323 before. It's the same in my truck and the wife's car and on both our phones. Also since the early 10.2 pic attachments no longer just show in the email and there is an option for attachments for all emails now at the bottom. This sux because I have security cameras that snap 3 pics and email them when the detect something. I get dozens a day. Now I have to open each attachment. Hope they put it back the way it was. For a supposed gold can it has a lot of issues. Also having lots of issues with games not loading and locking up and android shuffle not closing when closed and then not being able to open them again. Having to reboot the phone a lot.
