I'm up in the north east but so far the 1804 radio has been pretty solid signal wise. It's almost identical to 1792 though

    Posted via CB10
I'm in the Midwest and just left my house and signal looks fine to me. Will report back once I've been on it a little longer. So far, not seeing a huge difference but it has been less than an hour. The phone cooled down fairly quickly after the update so that's a good sign.

Yes and it is fine. See my above post for the two "issues" I have, but have always had and they are no biggies for me.

Great news for all STL-1 owners who dare to venture where brave BB 10 users go. You can download the bar files using Sachesi 1.1 via Vodafone Spain (MMC 214, MNC 1). This is not a leak, it's an official release. I installed it earlier today and it works perfectly. However, you must follow instructions carefully and exercise patience. As a precaution, make a full backup of your device just in case something goes wrong (i.e., you fail to follow correct procedures, loose patience and panic). "If you want to soar with the eagles then you must learn to fly with the BB flock". The entire upgrade process took me about 1 hour. Once the installation is finished, your device is ready to use. As usual, after any update allow several hours for synchronization. During that time you may experience slow performance so be patient. "When in doubt don't act stupid, ask instead". For full instructions on updating via Sachesi, copy and paste the following link into your browser Advanced: How to Force Load the Latest OS 10.2 On Your BlackBerry - BerryReview. I haven't yet explored all the changes in this release but the Dark Theme in Contacts now works. Have a happy STL-1 OS upgrade weekend, Keep Moving On!

I've noticed how some of us are experiencing good signal strength with this release.

I for one have had countless dropped calls and unstable signal strength ever since I first used my Q10 earlier this year. This is mostly due to my carrier, which is paid for by my company so I dont have a choice. I have spoken to my local BlackBerry expert center and they acknowledge this problem and says that it is a software + my carrier problem.

I recently purchased a Z30 partly for the paratek antenna and it has helped but not as much as I hoped for as I still get dropped calls more frequently than I like.

Ive installed thia release and will be monitoring closely.

My initial impression is a food one and that this radio is the only one thay has made a difference but it is still too early to tell.

Had that happen w/ 1791 yesterday. Tried everything I knew to do to fix it: deleting chat history, hard reboots, opening from the hub, etc.

Only thing that worked was reloading the OS

I'm guessing this is just bug fixes, wonder if they fixed the issue with sms messages taking long time to load. Probably too early but can anyone confirm this?

I searched for the UK Vodafone update. Can't remember the numbers bc I'm not in front of the computer anymore. Downloaded all the files and then went to the install tab and pointed it to the folder of downloaded files and let it go. It'll take a bit to finish. After that, phone will reboot (took forever to reboot so don't be too alarmed).

    STL100-3 10.2.0.1791
When I checked the tmobile us update it says 10.1 on Sachesi. What do I need to do? I checked Sachesi article and I couldn't find any info about it.

Now here is my experience so far:

    SQN 100- 2
    Verizon - USA

Light theme in contacts worked once - now only dark theme
BBM set to light but will many times be dark when I open it. A few close and re-opens will bring light back. Have always has this issue as well so not a "new" problem.

Too early to tell if any better than 1791 for me but I can say I have no new issues so far.
I have debug token and all converted apks work just fine as well.

THANKS BERRY LEAKS PEOPLE!!! YOU GUYS AND GALS ROCK!!!!

I truly do appreciate all you go through to bring us these leaks. I know it takes time and effort and you catch lots of grief but keep leaking anyway.

    So THANK YOU

P.S. Thor is taking full credit for this leak dropping today.
    As a side note:

I loaded the full OS not just the change files above. Don't know if that may make a difference for anyone reading.

You need to launch Sachesi and search for the Vodafone UK release and load that. I'm not home so can't go into more detail but PM me if you can't figure it out and I can help you later tonight.

Hey, I just did it on my Q10-100-1 and it loaded quickly and smoothly with no hicups (yet). Seems about the same but it's only been unplugged for a short time. I had to put in SQN100-3 for my phone varient as it didn't offer it for tghe 100-1. It should be a walk in the park for you. BTW, all android apps are quick with no issues--token apps or unlocked, they all work well and thanks to not having it wiped, are back in their folders Keep us posted on results and I will as well once there is something to write about. Have a great evening.

    Signs seem promising...

Just loaded the 1804 radio on my 10.2.1.575 and it works like charm, better sounding, less crackle and clearer than the 1792 radio

Extract/upload the sys.android.shell .132, I would like to use it on my 10.2.1 install but I do not know how to extract the auto-loaders.
And would it be possible for this radio to work on 10.2.1.575?
Yes, the radio does work on 575, I find it much better than the 1792 radio!

No issues for me on my Q 100-1. BBM is working correctly and all seems well. temp still warm at 90degreesF but is cooling down now. I hope yours works itself out as this seems like a good OS (so was 1791 for me) and probably just a MR over 1791. Are you on your Q or your Z now and which one is having the issues?
