Since this is somewhat relevant, I'll put this here:

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...=sharing#gid=2

Think of the radio archive concept, but including OS autoloaders and stretching back to BBOS 5.

I hate to take this thread off topic but it is somewhat related.

Are these regular bar files? Meaning if I download the 2229 Z30 radio posted here, add .bar extension to the end of it and then swap it out for the radio file that Sachesi downloads with the latest TMobile Z10 update can I use Sachesi to then load the update to the Z30 for a non-destructive install? In other words, remove the Z10 radio file and put the Z30 radio file in it's place?

No, these are all signed files. You load them into autoloaders.

    Now, about that T-Mobile OS...

Download either of the Q10/STL100-3 file sets, then once it's all downloaded, delete qc8960.wtr-10.2.1.2229-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar (Q10) or qc8960-10.2.1.2229-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar (STL100-3).

Download this file, put it with the rest of the OS and load as usual:

    Code:
    http://cdn.fs.sl.blackberry.com/fs/qnx/production/0b7f38a72a6c47d62e2735027762d50fd3ae3abe/com.qnx.qcfm.radio.qc8960.wtr5/10.2.1.2229/qc8960.wtr5-10.2.1.2229-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar

Is there any way I can get Radio_Q10_10.2.01.1056 for my SQN100-5 (Tmo) via sanchesi? I've loaded the most recent update OTA and don't want to risk soft brick by autoloading the radio.... but reception on 10.2.1.2228 OS is bad and might have to if no alternative exists. Help... (Thank you)..

    Great collection of radio files!

Can I load a radio file alone via sanchesi by adding .bar extension to the files posted here? Really? Sounds too easy to be true. These are indeed bar files?

No, you can't. These are signed files, and bar files are zipped signed files, BUT, they also have package signing data that allows them to be loaded onto the device. Just zipping the data won't work, as the bar files must themselves be signed back at BlackBerry.

You can't load 1056, as it was never released as a bar file. The only 10.2.1.xxxx radios that exist in bar form are 1899, 2142 and 2229. 2175 and 2181 might be coming soon, might not be, remains to be seen: http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...10-z30-915724/

Alright and thank you! The guys below said they used Sanchesi, confused me. Have multi problems with q10 a the moment. I'll see what's up with them, and then come back and deal with the reception (radio). At that time, I'll have a couple more questions. I appreciate the help! If it weren't for crackberry, I'd have thrown the q10 out a window yesterday - at least I now know there's hope for it.

Oops sorry for confusing you.. What I was trying to say is I downloaded the newer bar files (2228 over 2141) + core OS STL100-3 for OS 10.2.1.2228 and downloaded the Radio link with loooooong code provided by Thurask on thread T-Mobile OS 10.2.1.2228. So, it's a Radio bar file.

Someone has feedback about it please?

    Thanks

Edit: I flashed the radio 2235 and it stays at boot a loonnnngg time and finally boots. (First radio flash so I was a little tense).

Have two Tmo branded phones.. q10 & z10, both delivered with 10.1.0.4780 (software release 4200 I believe) installed. I updated both OTA to 10.2.1.2228. I'm experiencing problems with q10 - won't send or receive mms while tmo wifi calling is enabled. And the q10 radio isn't good. When updating the phones, z10 didn't have sim installed, and I had q10 network and wifi disabled - those are the differences I had control over upon updating, that might have caused the mms problem on q10 - don't know. Whatever the case, I'd like to reinstalled, as cleanly as possible 10.1.0.4780 onto q10 (SQN100-5). I'm a PC person, not a phone person - never messed with my BB before. Assume there is a partition with copy of OS on phone. Am I correct to assume the partition holding the 4780 version was overwritten when I did OTA update to 2228? So that if I revert via link to 'factory setting', I will not end up with 4780 on my phone?

I'd like to go back, install shipped OS and update the q10 to 2228 again, removing sim card while doing so to see if I can correct mms error - update it as I did my z10. And then install a different radio on the q10. The shipped radio worked well.. 10.1.0.4781. Problem is, I searched this forum high and low and I checked Sachesi, best I know how.. and I cannot locate either 10.1.0.4780 for my sqn100-5 or its radio. There are copies of the OS version linked to this forum but for q10 1, 2 and 3, it appears. Not for my 5 phone. I think the version was an official release, but yet I found info on forum in leaked threads.
Here's one of them: http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...device-842046/ and another: http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...00/index4.html

Also, if I can finally reinstall 10.1.0.4780 on my q, then upgrade it to 10.2.1.2228, can I use the radio from 10.1.0.4780 on the phone? Or must it be some variant of 2 version?

    Hope I've made sense

There is nothing left on your phone of the old OS. However, here's how I would proceed if you're dead set on downgrading:

    Hi John.. Thank you.

I have no problem with the procedure and appreciate the link to detailed instructions. THX! I need the OS 10.1.0.4780 specifically for my Q -5, (don't see it listed on your link either) and the radio file 10.1.0.4781 to flash it back after I upgrade OS to 10.2.0.2228, if radio I version is compatible with OS 2 version. Any idea where I can locate a copy of the 4780 OS version for 5 tmo (wifi calling included) phone?

I fixed the other error, so won't need reinstalled/downgrade OS for mms to work correctly, but I will need the radio file 10.1.0.4781, since .2229 isn't working well for me. I'll see if I can locate the radio within that bitcasa file link you posted. Thank you! Much appreciated.

    4781 won't work with 10.2.1.

You'll have to use a 10.2.1.xxxx radio to get any use out of it.
