yup apparently sachei and darcy still using the old version of cap file, and the new radio file won't work with old cap file

    Q10SQN100-3/10.2.1.1925
Although, with Darcy's Tools, one can replace the old cap file with the new one.

    Try using this:

If it still doesn't work, try rebooting your PC/phone, and if that doesn't work, try reinstalling Link.

HOW TO LOAD A RADIO SIGNED FILE: (Windows only)

    1. From the first post, download the relevant file for the device and radio that you want. For example, say you want the 10.2.1.1926 radio for STL100-3.
    2. Once you've downloaded the 1926 radio for STL100-3, download cap.exe as well: http://l.bitcasa.com/iaOrSJhH (3.10.0.55)
    3. Put cap and the radio signed file somewhere, then open a command line (in Windows Explorer, Shift+Right Click inside the folder where your files are and click "Open command window here")
    4. In your command window, type:
      Code:
      cap<version> create <name of radio signed file>.signed <filename of autoloader>.exe
which in our example will be
      Code:
      cap55 create Radio_Z10_10.2.01.1926_STL100-2-3.0.Radio.Signed STL3_R1926.exe
    5. Let cap do what it does, then once it's done, you have an autoloader containing the radio you specified.
    6. Plug in your phone, save everything important and run the autoloader. If you did it with recent enough cap, it will push the radio non-destructively to your device, which will reboot and start using the new radio.

So how do you get the radio to work? Any particular app to get the FM radio going?

This isn't about the FM radio, this is the "lets your phone connect to cellular networks" radio.

Anyway, FM radio requires OS 10.2.1, a Z30/Q10/Q5 and some wired headphones for an antenna. Once all of those are in place, then open the Music app then open the Radio tab.

Thanks for these instructions. someone should update original post with this info and mention that using sachesi will brick your phone if you use it to create autoloader

I have upgraded via OTA to 10.2.1 but i am struggling with battery life due to 1899 radio. I am uncomfortable using autoloader as people who upgraded via OTA/Sachesi are bricking their devices while changing radio to 1926 using same. Is possible to change to 1926/1056 radio through any other way ?

No, those radios haven't been publicly released as bar files.

Are still on leak or have you updated to official version. If you have updated to official version , don't go for radio changes as it will soft brick your phone.

I had the same problem in the past when trying to use a standalone autoloader with just the radio file, on my Verizon Z10s. Interesting.

Not at the moment, no. That would require one of a new leak, a new OS on servers or a new SDK.
