I think it's a bug with stl 100-1? To OP please check on the z10 forum under BlackBerry 10 here there's a thread where someone posted a potential fix. I'm getting the link for you in a minute

    Edit: http://forums.crackberry.com/showthread.php?t=807279

Check ManieHansen1's reply on page 7 or 8.

With my stl'1 I can only charge till 80 something percent and than it doesn't allow my charge further

I have posted there. No solution as far as I am aware.
It is either replace the phone or replace the battery option. I have reported this in BlackBerry Expert Centre.
They said I will get battery in 10 days. It has been 20 so I guess I will need to wait for another month of so. If that doesn't work then phone replacement is what I am going to insist on. Not sure how successful I am going to be with that in this part of the world

It is common problem if you install os with autoloader or do a security wipe, I suggest you never do a security wipe if you use stl-1.
For now, just wait until your battery drained and turned off, remove battery for couple of hours, insert it, press power button for couple minutes, and immidiately connect it to charger, or another method you can do a swap battery with your friends who use z10, remove old battery insert your friend battery and you use for a couple minutes and then remove your friends battery and insert your old battery. Only these two method works. I'm stl-1 too and have that problem before.

After i update to 4633, before i run the backup i did a security wipe. Seems like that ****ed up my phone. Should i try with reinstalling OS ? I tryed with the first method but still same problem. Also i'am the only BB 10 user in my city so i cant try the second one.

I'am using 4633 around 2 days and my phone is still getting too hot( always around 40 % C) for short time. Did you have the same problem?

It's got a completely different chip set then all the others, and as a side effect experience wickedly weird/bad things... Those with STL100-1 devices for the most part, there are a few exceptions, shouldn't be participating in leak loading....

Let's try and keep this on topic as name calling and such does nothing for the thread or people involved.

I would suggest that this battery issue could be a side effect of the leak. Something is throwing your battery calibration off.

No it's a side effect of the STL100-1 hardware as I explained, but for some reason someone took offense at the explanation, it has 0% of anything to do with the OS

Untill today my battery usage is a disaster on 4633... at afternoon 19.00 h battery shows 18%, after that it shut down.
Today in the morning I reinstall the same OS (4633), and now at 20.00 I have 37%.
Will see if it shut down at 18%, but sure it is more better than yesterday.

Also the memory usage seems to be better. Before reinstall free memory is over 700 mb and after reinstall is over 800 mb almost all day.
