Hi, running 3175 for a while now (OS should have setteled in) I find battery life with 2947 (2234Radio think it was) was WAY better. Also the device was running much cooler, 3175 is just more "snappy " but battery life is worse.

Thinking of downgrading, do you experience same?

If I hadn't gone on to the 10.3 leak, I would have stayed with 3175 myself. I found it to be much smoother running than the previous ones. But YMMV

3175 is very good, better than 2947. I get about 3 days on wifi which is the best I ever had.

3175 is the best so far for battery. I've not tested 10.3 yet but I'm staying away from it until some higher builds cone out.

I haven't noted a large difference between the two -- both are very good....

That I was thinking, too. I have wifi on at home and at work and I found that 2947 gave me more battery life. I never used two complete charged batteries in a 12 hour work shift, both nearly empty. No big deal but just wondering why I found 2947 better.

    Overall 3175 running more "snappy"

That's not what I meant. I meant there is connectivity issues with the latest OS. For example I'm not able to connect to my work WiFi network

My experience has been different. Last test I did on my Z30 a couple of days ago using my phone for heavily (call, e-mail, Web browsing, GPS) - no social media whatsoever though - the charge lasted 37 hours and still had 21% left (I don't recall very well, but I think it said it had 3 hours or so remaining on 21% charge).

Lowest ever battery performance with 3175 in a year. From 15-20 hrs range (high to medium usage) before loading 3175 to 8-10 hrs after os update.

I experienced the same. My battery life is lower with that last 3175 update (on Z10).
Am waiting for a new update to get back m previous autonomy (which was decent enough, but not magic either).

How did you guys update? Fresh install or update? Sometimes somethings goes eerie when you update. That causes battery usage to go through te roof. Had that problem on several devices caused by ota and sachesi updates.

In my experience on both the Q and the Z battery life is way better on the latest.

Try doing a fresh install, restore only apps and data and manually add your accounts fresh.

Ok, was better today. Seems that the re-calibration took more time than for last updates, maybe that would be more stable in the next days.
Still 65% after one working day (now I've only checked some mails, bbm and sms) + 2 mn of web surfing and 1 hour of music but that's more "normal" as an autonomy...

OTA Update from 2947 leak to official OS. Maybe I try a fresh install without restoring anything as usual.

A fresh install (autoloader from lengend) of 3175 fixed the battery drain it seems. so OTA update from 2947 leak to 3175 official not the best idea - clean install better.
