Guys do you encounter this problem also? I installed the leaked version 3 days ago. All is well except for my battery drain faster. See image below.

here's the image again. sorry for double posting... you can see that the battery drops faster than the normal rate. Only Battery Guru runs in the background and the Z10 unit becomes hotter. By the way my Z10 is STL100-1 running OS 10.1.0.1720 Battery issue with leaked 10.1-img_00000526.jpg

some said the device needs to be rebooted few times after installing/upgrading with new OS..i don't really know technically how to explain this..i just followed guide from the leaked OS thread..so far no harms done..but there's one time where before went to sleep my battery was 100% and when i woke up it's 20%..this occurred on previous leaked 10.1.10.1627..did you open/dock the clock apps?..the only apps running at that time were battery guru and clock..hmmm..

According to your BG log, it seems that you used your phone quite a bit, whether it be an average app or just going through your settings, your phone going over -2.00W is normal. How fast it drains is usually 1% every 10 minutes at that rate. As opposed to shiakp who barely touches his z10, you should try lowering your brightness down as that's a possible issue. You guys gotta remember, the z10 has an 1800mAh battery.

My phone's brightness is only 50% and battery guru is only one that in active frame. At 8am today you can see the huge battery drop which I didn't use the phone. It's in standby mode that's why I'm baffled why it's dropping so fast. Good thing I brought my charger today.

I am having the same problem. I'm going to give the OS until the end of the week to stabilize but I've been on it for 3 days now and in half an hour of somewhat heavy usage, i'm at 86%. Yesterday it dropped roughly a little more than 10% an hour but I think my battery life was better pre-10.1. I'm also experiencing a lot more random reboots than before. Hopefully this problem will shake itself out.

Every once in a great while my battery gets acting wonky. Twice now I've taken it off the charger after being on it all night to find the battery showing 54%. A reboot brought it back up to 98%. Once in the middle of the day the battery plunged from around 40% to under 10% in a matter of just a few minutes. After a reboot it was back up to 38% and running normally.

One other time I plugged it into the charger and Battery Lover showed 'Not Charging'. I unplugged it and the battery icon atop the home screen indicated a bad battery. Again, a reboot fixed it.

And then, of course, every night the phone reboots itself on the charger.

I think these phones have some kind of power management issues being triggered by a number of events or conditions that are leading to the overheating and rebooting, which so far the leaked OS updates have yet to correct.

    Hurry, 'official' 10.1!!!

I too noticed that my z10 at&t STL-100-3 reboots in bedtime mode every night. I'm running 10.1.0.1627 leak for since it came out. Haven't noticed any strange battery level drops.

It's been 5-6 days since I loaded the update. I have been waiting for my battery life to stabilize but it's been a bit all over the place still.

Give it time to stabilize people, do a couple of battery pulls and you will see it gets better!
Can go the full day with heavy use, and it has energy left at the end of the day...like a duracel bunny
Battery was terrible in the first week to, but as stated above its good now,

I'm having the same problem! I have had my Z10 on charge all day and it is showing 99% charged. Off charge, with very little use, the battery is down to 80% after 90 minutes. Can I uninstall 10.1?
