My permissions list reappeared after I deleted apps until I was down to 169 in the storage tab of the device monitor.

It is not app specific. If I add any app above this threshold, permissions list disappears again.

I guess its not the amount of apps but the amount of permissions that causes the problem.

Perhaps that is key. A short while ago, I was setting permissions, with around 200 total apps. I can't say whether loss of the ability to set App Permissions occurred before or after loading OS 10.2.1.537, but after loading a few more apps, I get the message that there are no permissions to manage. I only discovered this when I was talking with the developer of Snap2Chat. I have deleted a bunch from my device, but still no joy. Hopefully I don't have to delete too many more, as I still have plenty of device memory, and the apps I have are used often by myself.

I now have reduced my apps to 195, as listed in the Storage tab, and I have the ability to set Application Permissions once again. Clearly there is a threshold, but it varies from one person's device to another, so it's not a specific number.

Not every app that is listed under the storage tab is listed under the application permissions by the way. How many apps do you count now under the application permissions?

    I think I found a work around.

    Goto

Settings -> location services -> application permissions

Let me know if it works.

Unfortunately this is just a workaround for the location services permissions. I can't control any other permissions there.

I view this issue as an opportunity to "clean house" to shed non-essential, extraneous apps from my phone. I have reduced my collection to 63 installed apps (as listed in Application Permissions).

However, BlackBerry World lists 43 apps and Snap lists 29. When I get motivated, I will determine why there is a discrepancy in the total count of apps on my phone.

Was wondering about that, just updated to it, but have far fewer apps than before, thanks for the info.

Snap doesn't care or know about anything but sideloaded Android apps.

Those numbers will likely never agree, because BlackBerry World doesn't care or know about sideloaded Android apps, only native BlackBerry 10 apps. (Some of which are ported Android apps, but packaged for BB10)

The issue is fixed in SR10.2.1.2941. I see application permissions again.
