I Loaded .2354/.1881 on the wife and i's Z10s on Wednesday. We're on Verizon in Kansas. Our battery levels were both below 50% after 3 hours of light use yesterday morning. I decided to load the .1917 radio onto mine yesterday afternoon, and told her just to reboot hers and let it charge back up. Even tried the 'airplane mode on, reboot, airplane mode off' trick. We'll see what happens today! So far, I'm at 94% battery after 2 hours of very light usage with LTE on, and connected to wifi for the past 30 mins.

If either radio causes more problems, I'll simultaneously test other radio files over the weekend. Please let me know if anyone's interested in the results, or if you have any advice to share.

Edit: Battery at 88% after 4 hours with .1917 radio!
Edit: Battery at 78% after 8 1/2 hours with .1917 radio!
Thanks for doing this testing. I am very interested as I am running 2354+1881 on Verizon 100-4 phone. The combo that I'm using has been the best by far for me. No issues except battery life is horrid! Starts out after overnight charge at 99% and after 5 min use (deleting emails and saving some to files), battery level is down to 92%. On WiFi the whole time. By the time I go through light use (4g lte) between 9AM-12 noon down to 82%. Any moderate use will see this drop to 50% or less. Usually have to recharge by 3PM or sooner if heavy use (a few 15 min phone calls, or extended CB10 reading). This is the only gripe left for me.

So I have been on a 2354+2063 combination for the last couple of days, including toady being my first day in the office on it, and the battery life is the best it has been since I left the 10.0.9. When I was on 2054+1881 I would be down in the 50% range by this time in the day but I am at 62%. I would say my usage is light with about 20 bbms and 20 emails coming. So this is the best combo for me as of yet.

The radio is from the OS lbfe posted a link to back 1 page.

I would highly recommend loading the .1917 radio. I didn't have to charge it Friday until after midnight. Even streamed music via Spotify on wifi for over an hour before finally having to plug it in! After normal use over the weekend, I'd say I had 40%-50% battery left by 11pm each night. I have no intention of trying any other radio after putting this one to the test. Very satisfied!

I have posted this elsewhere but am updating my battery use. I am on Verizon in Colorado...in and out of 4g and running the 2354 and originally had numerous dropped calls each day. I flashed the 1881 radio and it solved the dropped calls...none in the last week. The battery was alright but not great. Read about changing it from "Global" to "LTE/CDMA" and significant difference. In 10 hour day with medium to light use down to 63%. Significant difference over Global.

Dang, I wasn't seeing that good of battery life when I was on that combination (I am also on Verizon in Colorado). Right now I am at 75% after 5.5 hours solely on cellular with light to moderate use with my 2354+2062 combo. This combo has been the best yet for me.

Did you experience any dropped calls with 2354+2062?

I have not experienced a single dropped call with this combination but I didn't with 2354+1881 either.

On Verizon, updated from stock OS to 2354, 1881 radio, last night.

Battery: terrible today, stock OS was much better. Just changed to LTE/CDMA from global, will see if that helps.
Dropped Calls: terrible, had 4 today. I have a network extender in my home, 2 of the drops were on the extender, so not sure if the 1881 radio is compatible with extender. Stock radio never had a problem with it.
OS: I have only had two reboots in 3 weeks, so not a big problem for me.

Overall: Not happy, if I wanted to go back to stock OS from verizon how would one do that? Or is there a radio that is Verizon specific/compatible with extender? Thanks.

On Verizon 100-4 phone. 2354 has been the best OS for me. However, i've had to do trial & error with radios. Dropped calls and poor battery life. I flashed radio 2063 and since then I have had no drops, and battery has had a major improvement. Try that radio before you give up on 2354.

Have you tried the 1917 radio? Just curious to see if you might have some comparative notes from both.

Richapin, your Z10 should NEVER reboot on it's own. We had 2 bought new on March 30 that did, got 2 new Z10's. Not one single reboot on new ones (since March 31.) One phone runs stock os, the other has run 5 different leaks. On Verizon in California. I'm using 2354/1881 radio. No dropped calls on 1881, afew dropped calls and Bluetooth trouble on 2355 radio. Hope this information helps you to make your decision on what to do to fix it. Verizon head tech said reboots on new Z10's were hardware issue and replaced ours on the first day (March 30)...

Thanks for the replies. I flashed to the 2062 radio last night. Found it here...(2062 Radio) Battery life for the rest of night was much, much better. Received two calls on network extender and neither of them dropped. From what I understand the 2062 radio is from a Verizon specific build. So the network extender would be considered in this build (hopefully). Ill post some results tonight.

Yes. I tried 1917 and it seemed to drain my battery pretty quickly. I have kept a running notebook of sorts for each radio I flash. I have tried most of the available radios. The worst for me was the one that came with 2354. Calls only lasting a few seconds, WiFi strength was all over the scale. Battery was spent after about 4 hrs with light use. 2063 has had the best all around performance. My battery lasts from 7 Am off charger, to 11 PM on a single charge (6-8% left) with moderate use. Not sure if I will load an "official " OS when or if Verizon wakes up and releases one.

I forgot to mention the only app that I have running nonstop is Wallpaper Changer HD, with static wallpaper. Great app by the way.

If I remember correctly I tried the 1917 radio as well and didn't see very good battery life and that is when I moved to 1881. Now I am on 2063 and it is hands down the best radio for me so far.

I agree it should never reboot but I can attest that for my Z10 the reboots were a software issue not hardware. I received my Z10 as part of the preorder and it would reboot nightly and probably rebooted a dozen or so times during the day. When I flashed the AT&T 10.0 OS to the phone it would only reboot at night while charging. Then when I flashed a 10.1 build higher that 2000, I can't remember which one I did first, my reboots stopped completely. Since I have been running 10.1.0.2000+ OS I have not had a single random reboot so for my Z10 the issue was the software.

Update: VZW STL100-4, 2354, with 2062 Radio. Off the charger at 730AM yesterday. At 830pm I was at 30% battery with no dropped calls. Normal usage day on phone. Texts, calls, emails. Bluetooth and WIFI off. I'm going to stick with this combo for now. 1881 radio was terrible.
