Was just curious if there are folks who have gone back, and the reasons behind.

I did. Too laggy and not enough benefit for me to stay.

Laggy? Really? I find that hard to believe.

I notice you don't seem to have posted your very pithy comment via the CB app. Just as observation...

Mine's a bit laggy too. But as per other CB folks, their leaks have been laggy for the first few days as well. I'm on my 2nd day, lag has subsided a bit compared to yesterday. So, I'll be waiting out this OS leak and see if it gets better.

I have had 0 lag besides the initial one where it was syncing everything. I don't see any reasons to go back. OS is solid and I have already used Type N Go so much that I will miss it badly going back.

Only lag I have is from Android sideloads. Everything native rocks. Android ports are not lagging as much as the sideloads

I'm lost. So because PINC didn't post from the CB app, means what?

.1429 is laggy, but as close to full functionality as available. While .1485 forgoes lag, but loses functionality in areas. I stuck with .1485

Installed the leak 1762 on mu stl100-2, but started restoring to default OS this morning. Battery consumption is to high compared to my previous OS, CB10 app is lagging, BBW also, some settings menu's not accessible (language and keyboard for example)

Liked the search improvement and HDR camera. Did not like the new setup of BBW, changed from alfabetical to apps/games.

Now in the proces of restoring the backup. Hope it will go well, next step is to wait for official OTA, so I won't have to restore files and settings again. Prefer offical Beta versions running on OTA, like we had with the PB.

Well tried to go back to 10.0.0.90, but doesn't want to. Tried web tool, but tells me current version is installed. Am afraid to intenrionally brick my phone, would rather have a full installer for 10.0.0.90, but can't find it.

My transition 10.0.10.82, 90, 10.1.609, 10.1.1627 and now 1720, so kind of improvements, I have experienced, no way to go back. Email improvements and typing experience is more than enough to continue and experience gradual development of os 10.

My answer is HECK NO! I'm on AT&T and I've been using leaks since they became available. .1627 is awesome and I'm now loading up .1756.

    NO WAY!!!
Not going back... improvements are just to good to miss.
Started out with the carrier 10.0.10.99, managed to get fife leaks to work and any of those came up with even better performance and options which I would never want to miss any more... 1429, 1483, 1627, 1720 and running 1762 right now ;-)
Yeah 1627 is rocking and very stable.. but 1762 as well... got the same numbers but mixed up around...

    here is my experience.

    i was on 10.0.10.xx

    I upgraded to 10.1.1627

I did a full backup, installed .1627 and restored the backup.

At first, I thought to myself, WTF, it's so laggy and the Android player doesn't work... I was really considering going back to 10.0

However, I let it just sit and sort itself out for an hour or so (I watched an episode of The Voice. LOL. Don't judge me.). I came back to the Z10 and Android player was working. Lag was gone.

The only time I find lag now is when the device first boots up. I assume the Z10 is sorting out everything, maybe indexing all the files on the phone. Then once it is finished doing that, the device is smooth as butta.

If you are considering installing the leak, you should do it. I highly recommend .1627, but I'm sure .1762 is great too. Otherwise, lbfe would never have released it.

From what I've read bro when you install a leak it takes a little time for it to settle in, hence the lagging and overheating.

I used to be on the 10.90 then 10.116 OS on my STL-2. Now I'm on the .1762. Yeah the phone was quite laggy after being restored and rebooted for the first few hours. The battery temp went up to 41 degrees but i let it charged and waited until it settled by itself and finally everything is now back like it should be.

Took it off the charger with 70% battery at 5.30pm last nite then i went to bed at 1am with 30% battery. Not bad for an early settlement of the OS.

I did 3 manual reboots to help the OS to settle. Yeah seems after the home screen comes up for the first 2 mins the Hub indexes so it's a bit laggy but after everything is done, it's back!

Sent from my Z10 posted using the CB10.
