I am getting very sluggish behavior from my cellular connection (e.g., can't setup email accounts due to time out issues, extremely slow send and receive of emails, etc.). When I switch to WiFi all my issues went away and I was able to setup my email accounts and get very fast performance sending and receiving.

Can anyone suggest a better radio for my Z10-3 that is compatible with the other files in 2789?

    Thanks

I am using 10.3.2.859 radio. No sluggishness and battery is good.

Thanks but I am hoping to get feedback on the STL100-3. The -4 is Verizon and is definitely a different set of bands.

You can use a radio-only autoloader and try them out one by one. Though I don't think your problem is with the 2789 build as it is a decent one. Try hard resetting your device by holding down the volume up and down keys until it resets.

I have done several resets. Also, it was so bad I reinstalled the OS to make sure it wasn't a bad load.

That's weird. Well stuff in 859 radio then. I ran it awhile and it worked well.

I did a couple of searches for 10.3.2.858 and 859 and can't find any links with the autoloader. Any suggestion where to look?
    Thanks

You can make it much easier, open Sachesi and uncheck box "new apps only",drag and drop 859 bar file for your device that"s it,i did it the same for autoloaded OS and using Sachesi, worked perfect.BTW you loos nothing, can go back to original Radio any time, just check the box "new apps only"

    Q10-5 2789/2790 and love it.

Here is a link to the radio file I have saved: https://onedrive.live.com/redir.aspx...int=file%2cbar

Use sachesi to sideload the radio BAR file.

Thanks. I use Sachesi all the time. Just used the autoloader this last time as the last Blitz messed up a bunch of stuff.

Radio autoloader after Sachesi OS blitz will always brick device.

I tried the file you suggested and now I don't have LTE. I suspect that file is only good for STL-4 and I need STL-3. For some reason I can't find that file anywhere.

FYI I used the correct radio autoloader for 859 and I am getting the highest results from Ookla speed test I have ever gotten. I have LTE back and am getting 23x21mbps for speeds. Now I have to test the email results.

I too was having problems with the 2789 Radio and battery life. Previously I was using the 859 Radio, but really thought they had a good production Radio file with 2789. My phone has been dying on me, and as a lifetime BlackBerry guy, I am really not used to having to carry a cord to recharge at every stop, but that was what was going on. After reading your post I remembered my 859 experience and today I loaded the bar file for that Radio and after a full day I am still at 40% battery and Bluetooth has been good too! Thanks for jogging my memory, and yes I am STL100-3 also.

How I can change the radio from 10.3.2.2789 to 10.3.2.859? Please is there a procedure step by step? I tried the autoloader 'radio' 859 over 2789 but this was wrong and I had to reset all phone. So if may possible to replace only the radio instructions...Thanks

I used an autoloader for the radio over the top of 2789 with no problems. I had to find the right one as the wrong one will brick the phone. There is a thread with all the old autoloaders for the OS and radio files.

Use this link to download and get instructions on side loading the radio bar file I previously posted.
