I keep seeing threads advising not to restore old backup via Link after installing leaked BB10 OSes since the old Settings might cause bugs in the new OS. Someone mentioned using third-party apps like Contact X and SMS Backup to backup relevant data.
Is there a third-party app one can use to backup Password Keeper entries or will my passwords sync automatically (from my BBID, for instance) if I run Password Keeper again after a fresh OS leak install?
    Please help me clarify. Thanks..!

If you have an updated password keeper version you should look for import and export on the app's settings.

Search for the password keeper 10.2.0.30 BAR file and install it.

    Thanks guys!
Downloaded the recent Password Keeper bar file from the link and side-loaded it on my 10.2.1.1055 leak (haven't updated to. 1295 or. 1925 yet) then exported the pkb file to my SD card. Once I update my OS, I'll import my passwords again. Problem solved.
    Y'all are the best..!

I have now tried 3 times to install this bar file using Sachesi and the instructions posted in th forum, I think my issue is that I am still (Thanks AT&T) on 10.1.0.2019. Has anyone been successful in installing and using the leaked password keeper on 10.1? All I get when I open it is a black screen for less than a second and then back to my home screen (looks like it crashes and dissapears)

Do a backup, upgrade, restore. Inject the password keeper bar, backup. If you suffer any issues due to the restore, you can always run the OS upgrade again, and then not restore, or restore everything but settings.

Thanks, unfortunately I have already upgraded and reconfigured everything to my liking. I have a paper backup of my password keeper entries, so I will be re-entering them manually. This will be even less fun then writing them all down the first time. I do appreciate the answer and hope it helps anyone else coming from 10.1
