Phone worked for a day with an early version of 10.3. It now cannot make phone calls. Get a network administrator error when trying to place calls. No BES system, just a personal phone. Anybody use 10.3.1.1016 on T-Mobile with any success?

    Thanks.

Everything worked fine for me but my issues were it wouldnt restore from Link and kept resetting to a fresh OS after rebooting. I went back to 10.2

    Thanks Ice,
So besides the link glitch you had no issues with 10.3.1.1016 as far as phone calls?
I'm creating an international incident with T-Mobile US contacting BB in Waterloo, who opened a case and is investigating with higher level tech and will get back to me. But apparently the issue is the non-support for the OS version I have installed. If the latest one works, I'll go for it, otherwise revert back....
    Thanks for your response. Gary

T-Mobile is working fine for me on the latest link. I didn't bother restoring anything, but used a nondestructive update

That is correct. I used it for about 4 days with no problems with calls or text then had to revert back because I needed some info from the "Remember" app and some contacts that didnt transfer on my SIM card.

I'm running 10.3.1.821 on my Q10 on T-Mobile US, with no issues whatsoever.

I've had a couple 10.3's on it so far, and every one has worked just fine.

I know 10.3.1.1016 is also stable, I just haven't found the free time to install it yet, but it's on my To-Do list

Q10 on T-Mobile running 10.3.1.1016. No problems. Did not restore anything through Link. However I do have Backup Pro and it restores everything except for SMS. Apparently there has been file restructuring for SMS.

Anyway, only thing missing is WiFi calling. But the gain has been tremendous. Battery has been great. Storage memory has been great. No problems. The shortcuts are superb and assistant is more than expected!

I am also using 10.3.1.1016 though on a STL100-3 version of the Z10.

Other than WiFi Calling and a few small glitches everything seems stable.

    Works great.
Thanks again all. Seems quicker too. This will hold me over until I pay off the Z10 next February and pick up a Passport...

Garpt...no need to wait if you have JUMP with T-Mobile, simply return the device and they will erase the balance owed.

I have a Z30, a Passport and a Z10 all running 10.3.1.1016 on T-Mobile. No problems at all. No dropped calls, LTE is fast. The only thing missing is Wifi calling from the Z10. Our other Z30s and Z10s are on 10.2.1. We will upgrade them when we have time. The users are not in a hurry.

Do Not Restore...that's how you get new os's to work properly. Don't mix new and old code. P E R I O D.

As I understand it though T-Mobile will not be supporting (or at least not carrying on or off site) the Passport. Is this incorrect information?
    Thanks! GT

was you able to get the wifi calling back working when you downgraded back 10.2.1? I updated to 10.3.1 and the low volume notifications are killing me and I have no wifi calling

if I downgrade with an auto loader to TMobiles latest 10.2.1.2228 will I get wifi calling back? Or is that .2228 update just a generic one. I know there are certain things that Tmobile needs in the software to make the wifi calling work

I upgraded to 10.3.1.1946 and not real happy with some of the visuals..like on my Q10 when you receive a picture the name is it is off to the side..the typing area in the text box is real small...andn notification are like 40% lower than 10.2.12228 I had on it before so I would like to downgrade to get my wifi calling back but afraid I wont be able to now ever. and I need the notifcations to be louder. I have read its in the OS and even the Classic BB are having the same issue.

Also will Sachesi bring me back down to 102.1.2228
