Ever since my autoloader update to 10.3.2, my Z30 has been incredibly slow on Android apps including ones downloaded from BlackBerry World.

For example, Candy Crush takes almost two minutes to get to the start screen and there is incredible lag doing anything from changing levels to actual game play.

Has anyone else experienced this? I've Sachesi'd everything since to no avail. I really don't want to wipe my device to reload everything again!

Did you try rebooting it? Hold top buttom till you get red LED followed by BB logo, ignore turnoff/reboot?

The 1st 10 hours after an non-destructive update can be quite messy.

Same with me on my Passport. A build or two earlier was much better.

Should be faster not slower. It might be that the device is still settling in. Meaning it's doing more a whole lot in the background at the moment.

This is way beyond the settling in point now. It also happens on my Q10 also loaded with 2.2339, but my backup Z10 still on 10.3.1 runs Android apps faster than the Z30 daily driver.

So what's an example of an android app that I could open and time it? To compare with you.

In my experience, Candy Crush usually takes way longer than most other apps to start up but it's usually still under a minute, I don't think it should anywhere near 3 minutes.

Clocked in at 2 mins. The app itself was always slow to load if I can recall.

Went to check amazon and Google play. Same versions. One of the few developers that updates their apps across the board.

Clash of clans takes between 10 to 30 seconds to load for me. So it doesn't make sense that this one app takes so long.

Good thing its working... keep in mind that my phone is clean with no music, movies or large files. I use a cleaner app from BlackBerry World. Some people say that it is not good, but i use it to refresh ram memory

I don't notice too many issue with Android Apps.... the UI is a little more sluggish these days on my Z10, especially with a couple of open tiles. But the OS has grown noticeably over the last two years. .

But if you reboot that first time you run an Android App does seem to take longer for the Android Player to start maybe a minute, and usually I'll have to exact the window after the green bar disappears and then reload the app. But once it is going its fine... and its not like we reboot all that often. Most apps open pretty quickly, unless they have to load data from a remote server... like a lot of games.
