    Hey there.
I installed 10.3.296 leak on my Z30 and my Q5, with camera BAR files. I need Google Services for some apps (Endomondo, among others), so I installed the patched APK with com.google.android.gms.apk that comes with it. Everything working very well so far, both on my Z30 and Q5, except maybe for that Google Services crash that was showing when I first opened an Android app after a reboot, but the app was working.

I had an app (MagicJack), that wouldn't work with 10.3.0.296, and found on the forum that it was working with 10.3.0.442 Android runtime, so I sachesi'ed it to my Z30, found it was working pretty well, so I did the same to my Q5. Now, today I had to use Endomondo, and I noticed that it force-closed on me a couple of seconds after I opened it. I rebooted, same problem, same with IMDB. I suspected Google Services, but Google Maps works well, and another non-Google dependnet app (SleepBot) worked also. I then sachesi'ed back 10.3.0.296 runtime, and now no Android apps work, it just start to load the runtime with the little progress bar, and when it's about to be done, it's kicking back to desktop. I then deleted Google Settings, but apps still crash. Tried to reinstall 10.3.0.442, same problems with some Android apps. Tried to reinstall Google Services, but it doesn't get past BB10-Android Initialisation screen (loading forever).

I know I could probably just autoload the whole thing, but anybody has a clue what's going on?

usually when you add another runtime and things don't work you need to clean reload the OS.

Yeah, well, obviously that would solve the problem, but if there was a way to prevent spending several hours to reload my two phones, I would try it.

Rather than an OS reload; try doing a reset by holding down the up/down volume keys. This is usually a solution for the runtime not starting after switching versions.

    Good luck

Thanks for the tip, I haven't thought of that. But unfortunately it does not work.

I had that issue with just a green loading bar, turned oiut to be an app restore issue.

You have to redo the OS

Yeah, same problem, but I always start with a clean slate, no restore. I guess there is more to Android runtime than the two BAR files, and we don't have any access to this 'more'. Either that with 10.3.0.296 runtime, or some app crash with 10.3.0.442 runtime.

I'll reload 10.2.1 on my Q5 and 10.3 on my Z30 tonight after work, if there is no solution posted during the day.

Sorry it didn't work. It has worked for me on numerous occasions when I sideload a different runtime version. In fact, it has always worked for me. It seems, much like on a pc after installing some programs, a full restart is required.

Hope you find a solution to your problem.

stay on 296 runtime, don't get 441 runtime that coul;d have been one of my issues too. But others seem to have it working

I have 296 OS with 441 radio and no apps from 441 and my Z30 is running like gold after like 7 OS reloads haha

10.3 seems to be more finicky then the rest of the OS' since I've never had this problem before.

Yeah, I suppose sideloading 10.3.0.442 runtime is part of the problem, but it's still weird that only some apps don't work on this runtime. And that Google Services crash makes me think it's maybe related to that apk.

Ah, well, I guess I'll pass on the MagicJack app. Only 10.3.0.442 runtime is Android 4.3, right?

i think 296 is 4.3 runtime too but I could be wrong. I know the 441 runtime is much better then 296 but I'm sticking with 296 until a new leak comes out
