This is the runtime from 10.2.0.1157 Developer build (which should be released in the next few days via BlackBerry). Sideload this over 10.2.0.1047.

I have loaded this and tested to confirm that yes it does work, but some apps STILL require a debug token ie:Candy Crush

*Install at your own risk we BerryLeaks are in no way responsible for ant damage to your device
*You install this on your own accord and we can not be held responsible
*If anything breaks on your device its not our fault
*Not all android sideloads will work as this is still a BETA runtime and is in no way complete

PS: Bottom bar is present in this and WILL stay on the android apps going forward, as far as we know BlackBerry has no intention of changing this!!!

Since you tested it, can you confirm if the bottom bar is always there with no option to hide.

Again, this is going to be there going forward as far as we know, this is not going to change.

So, for a quick performance benchmark, the question will be if it performs better than the 810 runtime.

Oh, I guess I missed that discussion. Wonder why they would take away that real estate for the Q10 screen. At least have an option toggle in the cascade settings.

Curious, why compare it to the 810 instead of the 1047 runtime? Is the 810 runtime proven to be faster than 1047? Or maybe you are still on the 810 OS release.

I would say performance is subjective. it always seems as though something performs better when we first install it. As i have only had the files for less than 30 minutes before making them available, it is hard to say what the performance gain is.

Actually I am on 1047, but read that overall the 810 run time had better results because it is not set in Safe Mode, enabling core android to be run much smoother and without the debug token. So far, at least the converted apps are way faster in my experience.

Well, I'm guessing there's no point in releasing it now since it will be released and hosted by Blackberry itself in a day or two. Possibly with change log and what not. I'm not in a hurry to install it. I can wait.

Do you think the android player use of blue tooth, will be something that will be updated solely with in the player. Or would it need to be a feature baked into the overall OS 10.2?

I have never seen anything resembling a change log for these OSes.

Ok, lemme get this straight. Is the bottom bar on the android apps there or not? I wish someone had already asked this question and it had been answered a half a million times before (._. )
