Managed to install this version without any problem thanks to all the good people here who have shared their experience. My steps are:

    1. Make sure the latest BlackBerry Link installed in my computer.

    2. Full back up of my zee.

    3. Install the os followed by installing the stl 100-2 10.2.0.340 radio.

    4. Do the setup without signing in to bbid and restore the whole backup from 2354.

    5. Side load BlackBerry World, weather app from sator, several Android apps.

    6. Restart the phone, sign in to bbid, email accounts

All back, including the notes, sound settings, blue tooth, wifi.

The only backup which can't restore is only the browser bookmark.

One question, the custom contacts ringtone even though the sound setting is there but it seems always being taken over by the default settings. Is it a known bug? I haven't seen anybody saying having this bug.

The carriers lock it down so the user doesn't use an APN that is not intended for them. The main problem came when people bought an OS10 phone and then tried to use it on a carrier that does not support it. If the carrier does not support the OS10 phones, the proper APN is not setup by the carrier and the customer cannot change it.

You have to remember that the real customer of BlackBerry is the carrier. If BlackBerry cannot convince the carrier to support their phone, they have no channel to distribute the phone or a network to use it on. If BlackBerry allowed the phones to bypass the carrier's billing system, they would have a tough time getting more phones into the carrier.

I don't understand why Carriers wouldn't allow a BB10 phone and allow Androids and iPhone to operate. There is clearly something lacking. Further, I have also read on these forums that a few OS builds had the APN locked on Bell or Rogers while others have them editable, which again shows this has got something to do with BlackBerry.

So been running it for a day now. I noticed the application wallpaper sky can't set wallpaper from within the app, you need to download the picture you want then set it from the folder. This is not am issue with a different wallpaper app, I suppose it's a compatibility issue between the app and the new os.

Found 2 hidden gems. When you are in the browser if you hold down on the back arrow it will show you your recent t history. Also when you swipe right to left on keyboard to delete the X animates across the keyboard.

I found this by accident earlier today too, didn't realize it was new though.. it's kind of a specific gesture to bring it up, not sure I ever tried it on 10.0 or 10.1

It also works by flicking the arrow up as well, that's how I accidentally discovered it earlier, and it's quite a bit faster that way then the press and hold, but either works.

@willowbeast Did you restore it on Q10 or Z10? I tried 3 times on my Q10, didn't work so far. Everything is updated to latest version.

I'm having an issue with payment on this build...I wanted to buy the panorama app as it was on sale and I was going to New York City for the first time, but I kept getting an error saying I couldn't buy it through my phone bill. Than I tried buying it by entering my credit card number and information and was getting an error with that. Anyone else have that problem?

APN Editing is up to the Carrier. I work in this business and if I ever needed to test a handset they had to give me one which had an editable APN to move from "real" APN to "test" APN.

It is not a BlackBerry issue - it is up to the separate carriers.

Hi all - curious to see if you have had the same power issues as I have.
This is about Power State not Power Consumption (which has been pretty good, actually, with this build).

    SLEEVE / HOLSTER
    1) If you have a sleeve or other holster-holder (with a magnet) and you power off the device - does it wake up when you put it into the sleeve? (I was travelling recently and while flying wanted to completely power off my Z10 and then store it. I checked my PC case 30 minutes later and it was hot because the phone came back on - I checked several times with the case and it seems the behaviour is to wake up the phone not put it to sleep). It puts it to sleep if it was already powered on.

No FULL Powerdown. (could activate the Holster issue?)
    2) I saw much higher up in the thread that some users can't fully power down the Z10. It "looks" off but a faint back-light is on and the phone is certainly using battery and getting warm. The suggestion was "tap the power button" but that just powers it back up again.

    Anyone else? Any workarounds?
