Ok...I'm just confused (not hard) . Is there any benefit to installing this patched together leak? If so, is there one for Verizon Stl-4? Is it better than .2345?

Notice this "ping gesture " setting in hub. Can't figure what it's for though.

Hi @habs_fan from Vancouver - Just to help me understand: Did you successfully load a 10.2 build and then restore everything from a 10.1 backup? (Settings, Media, Application Data?)

I've tried setting the manifest to a variety of different pre/post build numbers to no avail.
I restored all my info from a 10.1 back-up. The only thing I did different was to do a security wipe after the 10.2 install and set-up. I changed nothing in the manifest.

Wow. I did the security wipe and can't restore from any 10.1 or 10.2 bbb file. Have a Z10 on TMO (hope I'm in the right playpen...). Did you sign in with your BBRY ID or add accounts or anything else after the wipe?

During the initial setup, when everything is being re-created and sucked back down from whatever cloud service you use, the machine runs hot and the battery drains quickly. (1-2 watts) If you purchase Battery Guru (my favourite tracking app) you'll see this in graphic format.

After a day or so (Overnight?) everything mellows out and then the battery life becomes simply stellar and the machine cools down quite a bit. (0.04 watts)

What part are you stuck on? I'm not very good, but I can try to help

I am in the same boat. Installed .228 but restore fails. Updated manifest to 10.2.0.228...security wipe, still no go.
Did you try to with the hybrid 10.2 of. 228 and radio of. 340

Ok, so for those of you who want an autoloader that loads the OS from the 10.2.0.228 leak and radio from the 10.2.0.340 Dev OS, here you go:

    Autoloader-10.2.0.228OS-10.2.0.340_STL3_Radio.exe.zip (1.04 GB)
    https://mega.co.nz/#!xp1RCbRS!enlhnG...hCLTMAiDOB8iX0

This is what I used myself. Straightforward process, I split both files with Sachup then combined the OS and the radio.

This uses the STL100-3 radio, but should work on the STL2 and 4 as well. STL100-1 people can make an autoloader like this using the STL100-1 Dev OS radio.
This is the auto loader I used.. then I changed my manifest in my backup to 10.2.0.228. Then a security wipe and then restored my backup and it works so far

I did my setup, including signing in to bb id after the initial install, and after the security wipe. I also did a battery pull after the setups.

No Macs.... Just a windows machine... Nothing personal,I recommend that you stay away from this process... it's risky, and it involves some technical stuff... Please read the threads..
