Did anybody notice this yet? There is a non screen shot visible system resources meter. It has two different versions which you can alternate between them by swiping down from the top left hand side of the screen

I think this build needs some maturation! Phone is hot always and battery dying. Unstable build.

Anyone else having this issue or just me??

Loaded this on my Verizon stl-4 yesterday. seems to be settling nicely, but I have one problem that may be a deal breaker for me. My Z10 connects to the Bluetooth in my car immediately. However, when I make a call, or receive one, Bluetooth disconnects after the first ring. Has anyone else experienced this?

There was another post where someone tried multiple phones and had issues with both. Blue tooth would NOT work

To get my restore working I had to edit the manifest in the backup to 10.2.0.228 and then I security wiped my device and then tried a restore using the. 228 and. 340 (radio) and it worked
So far everything is good for me!

Very jealous. Tried all the steps to edit manifest to current OS, etc but still no luck. Guess I need further instruction for dummies. I read and followed SCrid2000's excellent, detailed instructions in the "how to" section... but no go for me.

Couple of bugs I noticed, don't know if anyone else has posted them.

    1) Cannot delete multiple contacts from Contacts app at once.
    2) CB App has black background, and black text (only some pages)

Sorry for a very ignorant question as I am basically new with these leaks installation. What is meant when it is said to be alpha build?

    Thanks.
In the scheme of developing things there are phases where the developer is comfortable releasing their code to try out.
Alpha: The code is somewhat there. It gives a rough idea what the final product Might look like. Many features missing.
    - Only really brave and experienced folks should try this because otherwise it'll drive you nuts.
Beta: The code is almost done - there are still issues, bugs, and problems - but it's "feature complete".
    - If you're willing to suffer the odd issue or workaround to get the latest & greatest - this is for you.
Gold: it's ready to go - release it to the world.

There's a feature in here which is interesting: swipe quickly over the battery icon to see some debugging stats like CPU usage, memory usage, etc. Swipe over the battery again to get a histogram of this. Swipe a 3rd time to get rid of it.

It may be me and my fear and lack of OS know how, but these new leaks seems a bit too hmmm MIT for me... Alpha vs beta...install this, then that, but not before this, side load that.... whoa, whoa...what? this is my daily user device I can not fk up this phone.... I guess I will have to wait for the boys(or girls) to spoon feed me the hybrid auto-loader version... still waiting... thanks all. Besides the occasional tool, this place is a solid bunch.

I'd like to restore from a backup as well - doesn't seem possible with this alpha build even after editing the manifest. Almost everything can be pulled out of other methods (Sync for Calendar, Contacts, Email) but the 8 accounts I've got, plus learned words, autotext, etc will all go away.

Again - this is an Alpha build - it's very possible that Link needs to be updated itself to put things all in the right places as there are new buckets in the 10.2 build that weren't there in 10.1

I changed manifest version to 10.2.0.228. Then his instructions were:

    7. Save the Manifest.xml.
    8. Add all the files to a .zip archive. By far the easiest way to do this is to select them all, right click, and from the 7-zip menu select "Add to ...zip".
    9. Rename the .zip to a .bbb (you will need to have file extensions visible, which is a setting in folder options).
    10. Select the .bbb in BlackBerry Link, and restore it!

I add the three to a zip and rename with bbb. Is it normal to then have a .bbb file within a folder with the same .bbb name that has the "Archive, Pkginfo and Manifest'? Must this .bbb then be moved to the "backup" file folder (I created a "new backup" folder to modify things..) Sorry - complicated to describe and I have tried various permutations... Thanks.

Hi @habs_fan from Vancouver - Just to help me understand: Did you successfully load a 10.2 build and then restore everything from a 10.1 backup? (Settings, Media, Application Data?)

I've tried setting the manifest to a variety of different pre/post build numbers to no avail.

I just tried the "Pinch Gesture" while in one of my email boxes. It hid all my email...in all accounts. Freaked me out, as I could not retrieve them. Then I selected the pinch gesture again and they all came back.
