Things not working properly is to be expected with beta OSes. You could get the autoloader or 10.3.0.700 and use the bar files of .1052 on them. Might get the advanced interactions. But then you'll have to live with the "watermarked pin"

Bro. Probably, the non-destructive method is the culprit here. Security wipe your phone and it'll probably fix it.

I don't think a sideload of bar files could help. Anyway, I do not know which file correspond to it or if any does. Maybe someone else can help.

Since you did it the non-destructive way, should you already have sideloaded all bar files separately after debrick & core os sideloading?

At first I also thought flip to shush would mean the phone goes into Silent mode when placing it face down. But that is because I am used to the app Flip to Shush doing this (changes notification profiles when flipping the phone).
So it is kind of confusing BlackBerry chose the same wording, while this only mutes notifications on-the-fly. Kind of defeats the purpose if you ask me. I mean just touching the incoming call screen already mutes the tone, so why flip it at all?

Thankfully Meeting Mode from the Calendar now offers the option to change profiles, that is more in line with what I use Flip to Shush for. I use both now to handle all my on-demand notification profile switching.

You mean to say your screen doesn't turn off when you flip the phone and keep it on a flat surface?

Didn't you check the third 'advanced interaction'? It says you can keep your phone faced down to put it in a power saving mode. If what you're saying is implemented, wouldn't it be contradictory?

Anyway, just because you thought something works in one way, doesn't mean it has to work that way.

To be clear, "Flip to mute" works when you flip your phone when an incoming call is in progress. (Having it always put in silent when faced down defeats the purpose. Because then you wouldn't know if a call comes or not. You could choose to put the phone in silent instead)

And all three 'advanced interactions' work flawless on my Q10.

    How about this,

IT'S A BETA OS NOT DESIGNED TO BE RELEASED, OR LOADED ONTO YOUR DEVICE.

In laymans terms, its not supposed to be on your device(it's an OS for the Passport), hence why some things don't or won't work properly regardless of whether its supposed to work just because its in the OS.

Not sure, but I thought that had to be turn on in the settings? At least I thought I had to. Is that what you mean by you"turned on and turned off"? or was that just the phone.

I would back up and re-run the install process, wipe it and then restore if need be.

Dude, the answer is a Sec wipe. I had the same issue on my Dev STL100-1 and it worked after I performed a Sec Wipe...this is true very often with non-production OS updates.

Just backup the items you want to keep, do a Sec wipe and restore them.

See the below post, because it is accurate.

The OS isn't designed to be used in a production environment, bugs are to be expected. If you're not willing to use the work-around, you probably shouldn't be loading the Beta OS's.

I know about the sec wipe option but I'm looking for an alternate...& Yeah everyone knows here that this is a leaked version in beta stage no1s arguing about that...It worked for others so I was just curious to know where did I go wrong..To be careful next time.

There is no separate bar for advanced interactions. It is a part of the core OS. Do a security wipe or reload your OS.

All three are working now on my Z10 after I do security wipe without restoring backup afterwards.
If I put my phone faced down in order to make it silent I really don't need to know who is calling I just don't want to be disturbed, if I'm done I will flip it up to see what was happening.
What I said and wanted to implement didn't contradict the third interaction at all even it is in unison with it. You flip down to save power and I flip down to save my phone from ringing out.
If tilting a phone can put it on silent when the call is in progress while leaving it faced down can't feature the same task, and that would be more brilliant because whenever you don't want to receive a call or you don't want to be disturbed all you have to do is place your phone faced down and this will still help the phone to maintain the power, you hit two birds with a stone. How marvelous

Love my Z10 looking for its successor or go for Z30 when the price is right for me
