I am running leaked 10.2.1.1925 with 1926 radio file since 1 month approx.

I did a battery pull for 1 hour yesterday night.

Since then in morning my z10 is behaving abnormally! It is rebooting again and again in intervals of 15 mins.

    I don't know why it's happening??

    Anyone there to explain this

What app did you load recently? something new? What was the last thing you installed? delete it and give it a day and see what happens.

This is a great place to search for help, but you can help people to help you if you can put into words just what the device is doing and what you may have recently changed. What made you pull your battery?

Normally, I'd troubleshoot this by starting with screen indications before the device resets. Then I'd pull the battery. Sometimes a data file in the OS can get corrupted cause a reset loop. I'd look at recent changes and reverse them. If the battery pull is unsuccessful, you might be faced with reloading the OS or even having the phone replaced if it's still under warranty

    Good luck.

You know BB10 and classic battery pulls DO NOT MIX. You may have caused the issue yourself.

This is not the old OS where you had to pull the battery for the system to get back in place. If you need to take it out, turn the device off first.

I suggest rebooting by holding the top buttom untill you see the BB loading screen - do not tap reboot at the count down screen (and this should let the OS get itself together).

I just pulled the battery to solve the battery drain issues of 1925.

Well did a proper reboot. It seems to be working fine now.

Thanks a lot for all your assistance.

It's not hearsay. Pulling the battery at the wrong time, no matter how unlikely, will brick your phone. Why risk it? Also holding the volume keys until the boot circle appears will force a startup level diagnostic on boot.

Except on stl100-1. They can only do it by holding the power button down until the reboot screen

Pulling the battery without shutting down the phone is hard on the BB10 os. Same as unplugging a running pc.
What is hersay? Or did you mean hearsay? Don't bash, be happy.

I can't sorry. But it's something we got from BlackBerry support.

Do you wanna do battery pulls on your BB10 device? I'm not stopping you.

Thanks for the reminder. I'd forgotten that lots of folks don't know to turn the phone off before pulling the battery.

Sometimes we don't to it to out computers (i.e. Windows Start Menu > Turn off, wait till the OS shuts down, hit the power buttom), it's easy to ignore it on mobile, specially when that used to be the go to 1st step for bug fixing.
