Is there a known method to get a sound notification of incoming call on 3.0.700? To prevent flamings, shortest answer wins!.. in all seriousness though.. I know the deal with dev software.. no need to reinform me.

    Load the old settings bar.
I had to load the old one, set my ringtone and then reload the new one.
I will post you a link to the two. hold on.

Download that rar file. Unzip it. Load the lower numbered file first by sideloading.
    Set your ringtone
Then load the second settings bar.
    Works for me on 10.3.0.296

    And by the way....
    WELCOME TO CRACKBERRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Restart by holding down both volume buttons until you see the BlackBerry logo. I'm on. 700 and it worked for me. I had to redo it after a backup though.

I've had success with setting the ringer to vibrate, then doing a hard reset. Everything rings normally after that. Cheers.

I did that and my phone hung at 99% for half the day lucky I was able to be near a computer in the afternoon. Or I would have been suckered into no phone. Any other way??

If your phone hung at 99% for half the day after a hard reset, then something else is wrong, perhaps the Q10 bug. But just to confirm, you did the hard reset by holding down both the volume up and the volume down keys at the same time until the phone restarted?

The method I described has worked twice on my Z30 (this problem has only happened those two times).

Let me get this straight, you are loading a developer version of the software, which by definition is NOT a full OS and is released ONLY for the purpose of developer testing and you are complaining that a feature doesn't work when you want to use this crippled OS as a daily driver and then are grousing that an available workaround is to buy an app.

The free solution is simple, drop down to the latest 10.2 release.

Don't restore your settings or any data mine has been working on fresh install. For alarm. Guess it is third party

You don't need 10.3 either, go back to the latest official OS and you'll have phone notifications.

    Unbelievable.

I did read it. Just because you figured it out doesn't mean you have the right to act like a child complaining about a known missing feature on a leaked os, that's all.
