I have the leaked os, 2072, installed on my Z30. All is working fine, except for one little glitch in BlackBerry Maps: when I enter text in the "suite or apt" field in a contact, the link to Maps won't work. If I leave that field blank, I can tap on the little green pushpin, then Maps comes up and shows the route. But if I fill in the suite field, Maps opens up and displays "No results found".

So since I didn't get much feedback, I thought I'd do some troubleshooting.

    I had entered:

    "Suite # 88, Building 800"

into the contact field for "PO Box / Apt / Suite".

I figured the Maps app would just ignore whatever is typed in that field. But no.

If I change the entry to "Suite 88", it works.

None of the following variations would work:

    "Suite # 88"
    "Suite # 88, Building 800"
    "Suite 88, Building 800"

And when I say it "works" or "doesn't" work, I'm referring to tapping on the green pushpin beside the address in the Contacts app and then the Maps app opens up and finds the address. When those "invalid" entries are put into the "Box/Apt/Suite" field, the Maps app says "No results found".

Plus, I have no idea if this is a new problem with this leak or if the BB10 system has this glitch throughout the earlier releases.

    To add to your list..
    example address:
    123-2200 University Ave. E
    Waterloo, ON, Canada
    N2K 0A7

    1. I can enter "123-2200 University Ave. E Waterloo, ON Canada N2K 0A7" into the street address field and the location is found correctly.
    2072 Maps issue-img_20150206_210404_edit.png
    2. If I leave the suite field blank, it works as well
    2072 Maps issue-img_20150206_210602_edit.png
    3. It does not work if the suite/field contains only numbers
    4. "#123" works

It seems like whoever programmed this element of the Contacts address fields and interaction with Maps really overlooked these fields.

Same problem in England - or is that UK, or United Kingdom, or Great Britain, or...?

There is a thread on this at Blackberry support forum : supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-Leap/Problem-with-Maps/td-p/3101795 - no resolution currently.

The Canada test address suggested there works for me; however, no formatting I have tried works for a UK address, EXCEPT spurious "#123" data in the PO Box/Apt/Suite field - thanks for that work-around!
