Do you have a device password? Try disabling that then re run the autoloader.

Sorry to read about this. Was there anything funny you noticed while running the autoloader? I'm asking specifically because the Q10 autoloader from lengend's OP actually flagged some writing errors before it exited. I noticed that someone else also commented about these errors on that thread, so it was not just me. From the error message, it seemed like some files were corrupt.

Fortunately, there was an alternative Q10 autoloader uploaded to Mega by SirJes. The link is available on Page 49 of that thread. So, I ran that one and it finished gracefully without any errors.

I did these two updates in quick succession so I didn't have the opportunity to check if the proximity sensor worked well after installing the erroneous autoloader. But, after reading about your issue, I wonder if that autoloader was to blame.

Also, did you restore settings from a backup by any chance? Would a security wipe help?

    Q10SQN100-2/10.2.1.1925
I ran the autoloader from the OP and then flashed with this radio (for both my Q10 and Z10, and only my Q10 has a busted proximity sensor, though the Virtual Expert app shows that it does actually work).

I did a clean install, just copied from contacts from Sim to Device once it was loaded. I did a Security Wipe before the leak, after it was loaded. I even flashed back to the original T-Mobile OS, because the proximity sensor works there. So I flashed back to it and reloaded .1925, hoping the proximity sensor would stay working.. it didn't.

I'm going to try Sir Jes' Mega link and see if that one will get my proximity sensor working.

I still love my Q10, it's just the proximity sensor not working during calls is really annoying haha

Where is the VZW specific radio? I really need it for my q10 I've looked through the entire post and must have missed it

There is only one for the stl100-4 that Thurask posted. No specific one for the q10

I think the Verizon specific radio is only for the Z10. I looked for a Verizon specific Q10 .1926 radio as well without success. Thurask has a separate thread with a link to available signed radios.

Sure is, it's amazing to read through and see how much it does vary. I'm thinking I might try to reload it again and see what happens. I need good call quality for my job.

I installed the .1926 radio a day or two ago and haven't noticed any issues so far, but have only made one or two calls with it so far.

Ok, I have been "dark" the last couple of days and then today found this thread - I am already running 10.2.1.1925 on my Z10 -4 and this evening, flashed the radio. All seemed good until I kept reading the thread only to find out there is a specific radio file for the VZW Z10-4. I flashed the radio again, using the -4 for VZW (thanks to all ho posted the radio files!!) and the one thing I have noticed now it that after the 1st flash this evening to 1926, all of a sudden there was an "IMS Status" in my System Settings>Network and Notifications area. What concerned me is that even though I am aware of what that is (IP Multimedia Subsystems) it was showing "connected" with the option to turn it off being grayed out. after flashing the radio the 2nd time (to the VZW -4) that option no longer exists. Any thoughts?

    Thanks,

You probably loaded the wrong radio file. Download the correct one and flash it over what's in there, that should fix it.
I have download the one and only for Z30, but still no luck

I've now run the radio autoloader I created through the CMD prompt on Windows and can see there is an error message that appears saying "failed to load images" and "file not valid". (The message was flashing up and disappearing before I could read it when just running the autoloader from the desktop.) I am extracting the 1899 .signed radio file from the original full 1926 autoloader which I used to install the leaked OS on my Z10 and that worked fine so I know the file is OK and for my model/variant of phone. Darcy's tools report everything OK when I use the option to "verify" the .signed file. That leaves me guessing that something is going wrong either when the autoloader is being created (I am doing this using Darcy's tools again) or when it is running and communicating with the phone. I have tried to recreate the autoloader multiple times and each time it seems to work and creates a file of the right sort of size but I now suspect something is going wrong at this point as when I try and run the cap.exe program to create an autoloader without using Darcy's tool (from the CMD line) using the same .signed radio file it reports that it can't open the radio file?) There must be something obvious that I am doing wrong here to someone who is more of an expert than me? I'm reluctant to reload the original 1925 OS simply because of the time it takes to reinstall all the Android apps and put them back in the folders I have them in! (I know by now I could have just done that but it winds me up when something that should work just doesn't!) Do I just need the .signed file in the autoloader and nothing else? Any other suggestions?

The link for the Z10 appears to be for the 10.2.1.1899 Radio. At least that's what it says in the about screen. Did I do something wrong with the flash?

Stupid about screen, not displaying correct information. the file is definitely 1926 radio. Crud.

This flash was a little different when run. The first time it uploaded ram image only 1 time, this time it actually did an upload 2 times. Now it is displaying correctly.

I am such a worry wart.
