It's a radio file specific for the Verizon (Z10STL100-4) device. Though the -4 can use use files designed for the -2/3, I think you may see better performance from a file designed specifically for the radio bands included in our VZW devices. So far I haven't seen a difference, but I've only had it loaded since early this morning.

I was able to download the file fine last night, and I was browsing Thurask's Mega folder (thanks again, Thurask!) this morning without problems. Perhaps somebody (I'm not home right now) can post a non-Mega mirror for you?

That sucks... Did you try to use Sachesi and experience the issue that Thurask described above?

Yeah, as soon as mega works again, I am going to load it

Quick question. If we loaded OS .1925 and then loaded radio .1926 on top, is there any benefit with this specific file? In other words, is this truly a VZW only battery and is this different from the .1926 battery in the OP?
    Battery, or radio?

I can't speak for Thurask, but I made the assumption that if he took the time to upload it to MEGA and share the link in this thread, it's likely a unique file for the Z10STL100-4.

Sorry, radio (my bad). Just wondering, but your comment makes sense. The .1926 radio I'm using is good, though perhaps not as good as .1056. A bit more squelching with .1926. I'll give Thurask's version a try this weekend. Thanks for you quick response.

Wow, .1926 radio on os.1925 (Telus) has much improved battery life for me. A bit of slacker 30min of browsing, texting and reading CB :-)

With the previous radio I went for about 6 hours.

I notice that radio autoloaders made with Sachesi don't work for some reason (not loading at all, or worse, bricking), so try making one with the latest cap.exe.

I loaded this 12 hours before. Initially I could not use my wifi for any Internet access.

Giving it a day to settle and then will see if it's good than 1899 or not.

Although wifi now works but it works slow as compared to previous radio.

I'm on 1925 but haven't updated the radio. I charge overnight, when I wake up in the morning I am NEVER at 100%. I haven't paid attention to what percentage it is when I finally take it off but of course, high 90s. It's so weird but I'm still able to survive a workday without a charge so I'm not really complaining

There's a belief that on 10.2.1, the OS isn't reporting an accurate reading on the battery level, so it thinks it's fully charged when it really isn't. I'm usually around 97-96% when I wake up in the morning, and that's been happening since the first 10.2.1 leak came out. It seems to be really bad for STL100-1 users though, but I think recent OS builds have improved it for them.

    Hello SirJes,

You can express your opinions about what you think of my answering to a guy all right, but I don't think that my replying and questions are snide and rude at all and it`s no big deal.

Let me explain for the understanding:

From the moment that he replied to me back, it wasn't very clear to me. He only suspected that the OS build is too old and also thinks that it might be incompatible.

His reply was send with his Q10 device SQN-100-1 with OS 10.2.1.XXXX and I noticed it. He already was and is still in his leaked OS version. I give him credits that he have experiences and skills with past OS builds but...

From the moment he was replying to me. It was to me clear that he didn't tried out with an older OS build and the newest leaked Radio build. That's why he took a gamble of replying me as his answer.

This radio leak 1926 just came out for about a week ago and he already is still in leaked OS build since last year of 2013, if he is an abuser right, he should give me straight detailed answers of my specific questions, which he didn't.

I too have experiences with updating leaks radio file updates for Q10 devices (SQN-100-3) through an autoloader. Although my last experience is when I was trying during the process with an updated leak radio file, (Lucky that I made a full back-up file before) when the prompt starts, it went well but my Q10 device get stucked within updating and the LED with red color blinks repeatedly. It was plugged in and had made connection between pc (Windows) and my Q10-device via USB cable. I didn't touch or so anything. About fifteen minutes afterwards I gave up because the Q10 device didn't responce and reboot properly. The updating process was in total demaged afterwards. Sadly I had to wipe out the whole OS build and reset the factory settings and put afterwards the back-up file with BlackBerry Link Software. In totaal it took me a half day to set it up everything on my Q10 device with apps, e-mailsettings, paypal connections etc.

If no one wants to share about experiences with older OS builds and newest leaked radio files, so be it. He or she shouldn't reply to me to begin with. That's my opinion. I'm not rude and/or snide but I only asked for detailed answers. That's all.

    Thank you.
I hope I am not incorrect in saying that English may not be your first language? I believe you may have accidentally come across as "rude" due to that and not at all that you meant to be. At least that is the impression I got. This just seems to be a misunderstanding.

Oh well, I stick on the official files instead of the leak files because almost half of an leaked OS build of BlackBerry 10 has too many bugs in and gives malfunctions mostly within the menu settings.

I'll definitely wait for the upcoming official files of BB10 OS 10.2.1.0.XXXX and unlocked Android Runtime bar-files.

Perhaps most of the files of the whole OS builds will be modified by BlackBerry before they are releasing to any telecom carreers through world wide around the globe. I don't think the leak files will be same as the official files.

You may correct me if I'm wrong, but be a sure that the official OS builds all errors are gone for good. Permanently.

If the numbers match, then the software is exactly the same. There is 0 difference. 1925 from 2 weeks ago, will be the same as the 1925 released by carriers later this month.
There is also a rumor that there will be 10.2.1.1898 released by carriers

Just loaded the radio up, and to be safe I did a back up to link first.

Just realized that link, and my phone says i have OS 10.2.1.1055, but I know for a fact i'm running 10.2.1.1925..i've installed APK's, have the new call screen etc.

Can anyone (perhaps someone with a Q10, if that makes a difference) who is running .1925 wuth this .1926 radio tell me if they notice the same thing?

The call screen changed as did ability to direct download apk's on 10.2.1, so what you said doesn't prove you are on 1925. Sounds like you may be on 1055, maybe accidentally clicked wrong file last time you ran autoloader.

.1925 w/.1926 radio on a Z10 here... Battery life is definitely holding-out a bit better than before. No hard #'s to offer. Just regular patterned "user observation". What I DID find interesting was that in an area notoriously bad for Verizon (battery skunking occurs when the thing flips back and forth looking for LTE/3g and in some cases, 1x!) rarely drops below the single bar LTE. Else, it will jump back to LTE even if residing in 3g.

People I talk to say I sound noticeably better w/the .1926 radio, including no more cut-out speech, and I was finally able to put a terrible echo (which only I would hear) into its grave.

All in all, very happy and thankful to the OP for posting this! THANKED!
