Basically I am having serous problems with a battery drain ever since I installed android runtime and got the debug token installed by a great guy on here who done it for me. The drain is really depressing. Is it worth it going through the pain of setting up another leak or do I wait for official 10.2?

We'll I just loaded this new leak .1761 today so I can't tell u how battery will be for now. But the OP stated that this was just polishing and bug fixes from .1743 and I had amazing battery life with Q10 on that. Hope that helps

I have installed 10.2.0.1761 about an hour ago and the past few leaks I have installed, even within the 1st hour or 2, the battery drain was really bad. The 1st hour wasn't as bad for this leak but I can't let you know what battery life is gonna be like until at least a day has passed. So far so good though. I would say install this leak, it is worth it . Has performance tweaks as well from the one your running .

First hour is not indicative of actual battery use. Quite a few processes running to sort out the OS. Give it some time.

Hence why I said "but I can't let you know"

Got 1761 loaded and running. First thing I noticed is a very stead signal. It's normally erratic. This is a good sign for battery life.

I have had fantastic battery life on all leaks I've installed once the initial 24 to 48 hours was up for the OS to settle in. I guessing this one will be the same but I would check on things in a few days to best gauge the over all experience other users are having. My Z is a STL100-4 on verizon

This actually seems really good out of the gate. I was having a drain In the last one and this is better already and only been running for six hrs.

I've been averaging around 6-7 hours, which for me is solid.

What do you have to lose? It can't be any worse than it is now. What apps do you have sideloaded?

I'm happy to report with moderate use I'm getting 14 hours with 45% battery life left on 3G.

Smoother, sites load quicker, and battery life better. I'm on the 3rd day. Best leak so far for Z10.
