Under Hub Settings ---> Display And Actions ---> Interactive Lock Screen Notification Settings there is an option for this, but I can't seem to find anything on CB that discusses someone using it successfully (it doesn't work on my build).

I would LOVE to know if it's supposed to have the BlackBerry work like iOS in regards to lock screen notifications finally!

    Anyone seen it in action??

Yes it's working, when you received new notification and the device screen is off then it will light up to show the lock screen notification

Weird...not working for me. What build are you on, and does it show all of the emails that are unread, or just the one that just came in?

I definitely would not want this toggled on (the LED is fine for me), but to each their own.

Why? Do you consistently have your phone in front of other people who may read your highly sensitive CIA communication email subjects?

Or are you worried about battery life?

You can hide the message and show sender only

Just not for me, lol I doubt anyone would care to read what I receive and I'm not exactly paranoid about people reading my correspondences. Just don't want my device's screen lighting up every time I receive a new message. Seems like a bit much, but like I said that's just me. If you enjoy it than have at it.

You realize that it's a toggle option....and while you may not like it, it's what millions of people going back to iOS 6 have loved for years...which BlackBerry has finally implemented

Oy... I know it's a toggle option. I'm not complaining about the option to use it, I'm saying that I personally don't want that functionality. If it's there then great, more options are always welcomed.

Some people like the simplicity of iOS. Others like the customization and tinkering achieved through root access on Android roms. I like neither, which is why I use a BlackBerry device. Do I use all features available on my BlackBerry, though? Nope. That's the beauty of choice.

That's what my iPhone 4 and 4s did. But after the first flash it did nothing. The trusty BB has the LED which is another reason I came back home.

The trusty LED has been amazing for years, but it was time for the BlackBerry to evolve. The ability for the device to sit on a table or surface and still be able to deliver information to the user without interacting with the phone is invaluable to power and enterprise users.

Too bad it only works as you described. One flash, then no more.

I raised this issue in the original leak thread.
Mine isn't working properly either... it seems sporadic. But once again, this is just a leak.
Can't wait for it to finally be working though.

I get that BlackBerry needs to offer this, but customized LEDs are much more powerful than blanket notifications.

100% disagree. With the lock screen notifications, you can triage without even picking up the device. With customized color LEDS the device merely says "hey.I have a notification in a,b,c,d account", but you'd still need to open up the device and see specifics.
