    • flip to reply - "Flip the device face down while the phone is ringing to decline the call, and automatically send a customized text message."

Note that 296 should have a bug where "flip to save" mutes the device instead of improving it's battery life

I am currently loading all the updated bars from this SDK on to 296. Except the useless files like extra languages, first launch etc... We will see how it goes
Update: Contacts and Calendar are not working loaded on to 296. Everything else seems to be working including new phone settings and all Android apps and new browser and camera

I wouldn't bet anything on it since BlackBerry has withdrawn features at the last minute, in the past, but they're actively working on it based on the app, settings and mockups we've seen. It seems an NFC tap is enough to activate the connection.
But is it more likely to launch with 10.3? Not that it matters, if the rumors about it being just for enterprise is true.

So what's worth loading onto. 296 in your opinion?

I wonder with flip to reply, if you can block the sensor with your hand, would it work?

Android runtime is quick. The new phone settings with pull down for speed dial is nice. Camera seems to be working better. A lot of the bars are more background processes so it is hard to analyze in the short term.

The description sounds to me as if it's using the accelerometer + gyroscope to detect if you flip it face down, rather than the proximity sensor if you were to place it face down. May just be a poor choice of words, though.

I've done the other way: loaded SDK version and then missing .bar(s) from 296.
It's quite cool and almost everything is working!
I also have triage working and device monitor frame just became white (but still no data in it)

You can add Device Monitor to that list. I may not install it due to Device Monitor not working.

I don't really care about phone call logs since I use my Z10 to make calls and not my Z30. I don't need intelligent assistance either, but Device Monitor is a must have for me, so I may pass on this because of that.

That's the thing... BES 12 and the Classic Bold are supposed to launch in November and that would be 10.3.1. Maybe they'll test it in 10.3 in order to be ready for the enterprise push in November.

Not sure if it's been mentioned anywhere, but it's supposed to be possible to turn on/off geolocation and backlight using voice commands. Pretty cool to be able to turn on these features without having to tap on the screen.

Seems like. The Q10 officially launched with 10.1 but support started about midway through 10.0.9.
