If anything that is worse they are more close together.

Use the night mode and you have a very nice snooze button. No change to hit the dismiss button.

The way it works on OS 10.2.1.2102 with bedside mode looks great, love the animated opening. However I shouldn't have to take the extra steps for bedside mode, plus sometimes I want the wireless connection on still.

I don't see why we couldn't set the alarm, and when it goes off the screen looks the same as the it does when it goes off in bedside mode.

It'd be nice if to snooze you just tap a button (as it is now), but to dismiss you have to touch the button and drag it to another area of the screen. I had an old school alarm clock for years that you could just press down the button to snooze, and to disable you had to press down and slide it to a lock position.

I imagine they could make it "theme-able" so you could have, for example, the snooze button be an alarm clock image which you would just tap to snooze, and then would you have to drag it down to a trash bin/shark mouth/smoldering fire, etc. to dismiss.

Alarm clock UI should be like old call screen. Swipe up to disable and down to snooze.
Seems like a good idea at first, but what happens when you're half asleep and grab the phone upside down? You swipe "down" to snooze but in reality you are disabling the alarm. I like the previously mentioned tap to snooze, swipe to dismiss.

How it works now in bedside mode looks pretty cool. I don't think it would be much of a change to have the same thing happen when the alarm goes off outside of bedside mode.

This would also provide OS consistency.

This I agree with. I would no longer miss it for the phone if they used it here.

Yeah, I got into the habit of hitting the volume keys for snooze a long time ago after some catastrophic sleep-ins.
This is what I do, too. My Z10 is in one of the "docks" so I just hit the volume buttons, which are on top, and it works like a "normal" alarm clock.

I think it should not be that easy. Alarm is meant to wake u up. The idea that i suggested requires some attention to defuse the alarm, thus helping to wake up on time.
Plus we get the old screen!

Add another big button that immediately wipes the device without further confirmation... and I will wake up in fear from now on :P

    Funny thread!

I never use / used / will use snooze. An alarm is to wake me up to get things done - so why in goods name should I snooze it?!

If I had the time to snooze it I therefore had timed the alarm later.

Dismiss should have a comprehension test / password it seems for some of these hard snoozers!

I now there are Alarm Clock Apps that make it very difficult to shut them off. But - I do agree the snooze / dismiss screen needs some work.

That's an update but doesn't resolve what the op wants. When will BlackBerry add the snooze time changer that we used to have on BBOS?

    Posted via CB10
    Already have that on bb10

My clock app does not work (SDK version)... i can't set an alarm. When i try, it says it will go off in 999 hours, but it does not save and never shows that it is active. The timer app does not work either, the button is there to reset but it does nothing. Is there another version I could use?

Why not tap screen to snooze and wave hand over screen to dismiss (like the tat demo. 10 second mark). I'm sure BlackBerry could implement it.

I love how the video says typical day in 2014. Let's get on this BlackBerry!

You should contact all the digital software companies making clock applications, all watch companies and digital clock companies who have been making snooze buttons for years.

I don't think they realize they have been wasting time on such a useless function.

    Simple...
    Gesture based to Dismiss
(I would proposed a slide up gesture similar to the way it was when answering phone call)

    Tap anywhere to Snooze.
