    Umm... what new BlackBerry phone?

There is no new BB10 phone coming. Chen re-hinted about the next BlackBerry Android phone with a physical keyboard for next year... but that's all that's coming.

And, working with Google for the past year is the very reason the runtime won't ever be updated in the BB10 OS. Google's rules for using their Play Services.

Um, Chen did hint of a new BlackBerry device but he did not indicate if it was gonna be BB10, Droid or even am Apple device. He just said it will be an in house BlackBerry phone. I hear a lot of talk from people on here stating that there is no BB10 developers left and yet I looked in the pudding and still see no proof. People claim that 10.3.3 is just a security update. Again the pudding showed no proof of it being just that. Until I see hardcore proof and facts, it's all nonsense talk to me.

Why does it seem like Chen was hired to murder BB10 in favor of a flawed American OS?

Why does it remind me of IBM partnering with the Nazis?

    Thanks for asking.
Probably because you don't want to acknowledge that BB10 was the gangrenous foot that had to be amputated to save BlackBerry.

I'm still using a passport. I have no issues with BB10 for how I use it.

Seems more like they're turning a secure OS into the next Avro Arrow.

The PlayBook update situation repeating itself it seems. There are 2-3 BlackBerry 10 developers, and the officials are cowards to admit that Google DOESN'T allow them to update the runtime on the current BB10 devices. Either way they are pissing off the customers.Google Play Store is the blatant example of antitrust. Thank god for EU finally investigating it.

Exactly. Besides, there's no need for them to say anything about not being able to update the Android runtime if everyone already knows it's not possible.

I would say it was more of a hangnail, easily fixed but they decided to remove the foot for a prosthetic anchor tied to the SS. Google.

Or maybe the proof is BlackBerry actually saying it's just a security update?

That was an awfully expensive hangnail!

Everyone says it's easily fixed until you start to think about how much actual money Chen would have had to risk to try to fix it.

Downloading the debrick and everything didn't seem as exciting as it did back in the day (probably because it wasn't jam-packed with new features). However, it has made quite a few happy around here, so it has done some good lol...

It does have a few new browser features. Also, my Passport seems to have more free RAM. Before 10.3.3 I'd have some lag with 3 apps open that I always have open and the Cleaner app showed that I had approx. 700 MB of free RAM. Now with 10.3.3 and those same 3 apps running everything remains fast and Cleaner shows that I have approx. 1.15 GB of free RAM.
So they definitely did some memory improvements.

If this is indeed an improvement. Which is great to hear. I hope Blackberry mentions this at some point and also states all the other things they improved on.
