You're right, leakage is the best evidence. Just like when the Passport first leaked with Android as OS.

But then how will they fulfill their dream of pursuing BB10 to fill the security sector? They can't do that without at least one new device.

Posted via CB10 using BlackBerry Passport (OG Red)
Unless there's no one left in the security sector even asking for BB10 anymore. I think that's what Chen is finding out.

Other "secure" phone makers like Silent Circle are also finding it hard to find customers for their specific offering.

If you can secure your workforce's BYOD with a good MDM solution, why bother with a specific brand anymore. That's what BlackBerry is focusing on now and they are doing better with that approach.

Alright, so the browser in 10.3.3 has a new anti-phishing function. It'sa toggle in the settings. I would call that a feature. A minor feature though. But some people on other parts of CB are calling it a "security fix". But IMHO there's nothing to fix as that function is not available in the current 10.3.2 browser. What do you guys think: would you call it a feature or not? (NOTE: I'm not trying to live a pipe dream that BB is actively developing BB10 right now by asking this, I just ask this out of curiosity).

    The official wording was:

"updates focused on security and privacy enhancements"

Alright, so in that case 'feature' is the right term in this case. Thanks!

Aaaand now you officially might be wrong as the homepage now has a news article about BlackBerry having officially said that they're not ruling out another BB10 device.

I'm not worried. I'm confident in what I said, but after the 'Rome' has launched we MAY see another.... ahem. Device lol

Far far to early to say though.

"Our roadmap is completely driven by our customers. We are absolutely not backing away from BB10 because we have a huge amount of customers on BB10 and high expectations from that group." Beard said. Additionally, Beard noted that "The company's never said that we would not build another BB10 device." despite their recent move to offering Android-based hardware. When it comes to offering Android-based devices, Beard feels investors should realize that BlackBerry's Android software is just as unique to the company as BB10 noting "BlackBerry is pulling all the top features from BB10 and adding it to its Android system, creating a hybrid that has the best of both worlds."

Despite the dramatic reports coming from some outlets, BlackBerry continues to sell BlackBerry 10 smartphones, and BlackBerry 10.3.3 will be released next month, and a future update is planned for next year.

My whole family has BB OS 10 and it would be a nice if BB OS 10 stayed for some while.

For you it doesn't seem to matter that much since you're already on the 10.3.3 beta so you have most improvements already

Bug fixes, security fixes, (pending) NIAP certification and a new anti-phishing feature in the browser.
