Hello guys. I'm sorry if this has been already posted but I haven't found an answer anywhere.
So, I updated from 10.3.1 to 10.3.2.858 and I was able to restore my settings but I can't restore media. I know that it's not possible to go back to 10.3.1...

    What I tried so far:
    - turning the bbb file into a zip so that I could change the version of the manifest file to my current one
    - trying to restore the new bbb file with sachesi but every time I did that sachesi crushes
    - trying to restore with BlackBerry Link which will not let me do so...

Any ideas please? Thanks in advance.

Better to copy paste all your media data to PC before using autoloader and after copy paste from PC back to your mobile. No need BlackBerry Link..simple and safe))

    Blackberry Passport, OS 10.3.2.2339.

I had same problem as you but I successfully restored my backup after I changed manifest version to current one. Is there any media.tar file when you open your BlackBerry file? In my case I could not extracted media.tar but after I changed manifest file I was able to do it with blackberry link

Yeah there is a media.tar file in there and like you said I can't extract it! I will try to change the manifest file again and then try to restore with an older version of BlackBerry Link. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks!

Well, no. Nothing :/ it turns out that I can't change the manifest file as well... because the files are locked.

I opened bbb with winrar and than I extracted manifest file to my desktop. To change OS version I used notepad++. After that I copied manifest back to bbb using winrar and overwrite existing manifest. Can you copy manifest to your pc destop?

Can you please tell me exactly how to do that with winrar? Because the way I do it, it doesn't let me paste it back to the bbb file.

You need WinRAR archiver (WinRAR archiver, a powerful tool to process RAR and ZIP files). Open bbb with WinRar archiver:
    1. take out manifest (make backup before change anything)
    2. change os version to one you are using (open manifest with notepad++ -> https://notepad-plus-plus.org/)
    3. drag changed manifest back to bbb (using winrar) and overwrite the existing one (it takes few minutes to do this)
    4. when it will be done check for correct version in manifest (this is just to prove yourself that you did it right)
    5. restore with blackberry link

Thank you so so so much! I finally got to do it! Apparently, because to paste that file back to the folder it takes a couple of minutes I would stop it before...
