I find Blend doesn't recognize my device anymore on this build.

I've tried all sort of combinations of cord pulling, blend function on/off, and making Blend forget my device to start again. Nothing.
that's strange it was working just fine 2 days ago now it's not connecting anymore
i think they just fixed it it's up and running now

What pisses me off, is 10.3.2.500 and alpha-numeric dialing is STILL missing. Something legacy phones and even 10.1 was able to do...

You know those numbers you see on tv, or some big companies, like for comcast cable, their phone number is 1800COMCAST. Before with BBOS and even in the beginning of BB10, 10.1 originally on my Q10, you could just type, with the keyboard, "1800comcast" from the homescreen and you had the option to call it, no need to look at the dial pad and figure out what number is c and o and m, etc. Now if you do that, the moment you start typing the letters, the "Call" option disappears. Even if you type "Call 1800comcast" into universal search, it will not work. And it's not like the OS doesn't recognize it, if you save a contact with that number, it'll dial the correct number, and even on here, I think you can touch the 1800COMCAST I typed and it'll call, but it used to allow you to simply type it out from the homescreen to call. For some reason, they removed it and I have no idea why...

Mine only looks amazing if it's been idle for a while.
Once I start using it a bit the life drops, but luckily climbs when I stop for a while.

You can set in hub settings>Display and action>scroll down to find audio choice..
Just select speaker or handset, and you won't get prompt anymore.

Works on my stl-2. Typing "call 1800comecast" + enter in assistant, my phone call it.

I've tried that before, and just tried it again right now. All it does on mine is it launches the phone app. Doesn't even attempt to call it...

Edit: And even if that worked, I don't get how it's an improvement if we're required to type out "call." My old Bold 9900 was able to tell what I wanted to do just by me typing it... Heck, it was so smart, it would let me start the numbers without alt, then holding alt to type would enter the letters (the opposite of typing) because they knew how a lot of times people tell you the numbers verbally with the "1800" part first and you might start dialing it without realizing that they will tell you a word next instead of more numbers. So instead of requiring you to go back, delete what you typed, then hold alt to get the numbers, it understood for the sake of the phone call function, it'll swap the alt key... Like on my old Bold 9900, if I typed "wx009+.9*4(" (no alt for the numbers, but alt for the letters) in universal search, it'll show "Call 1800COMCAST" as well as the search for "wx009+.9*4(" And that's how smart they made the OS back in the legacy days. If only they upgraded to BB10 by keeping all of the great, smart, features, and simply gotten rid of all of the slow and out-dated stuff...

They are getting closer with every update, but still not there yet in my opinion...

I hate to keep rubbing salt in the wound, but I couldn't agree with you more...I think that's been the most frustrating part of switching to OS10, having lost so many valuable features that gave so much value day-to-day !! I hear you brother.

Update: I tried uninstalling and reinstalling link/blend: still doesn't find my device. Keeps insisting I turn Blend "on" on my handset, which I obviously have. Won't discover.

Link works fine as ever, though.
