Definitely have to sign in to BlackBerry Protect with my PW every time I do a hard reboot.

Loaded 500 nondestructively over 281 which was loaded nondestructively over 10.3.1.2708.

Does this warrant a wipe then an autoload of 500?
Not having this issue on my Z10. Loaded non destructively...

Using for a few days. Battery life is not that great. A full charge only last around 20-23 hours at time
IMO, 20-23 hours is a great battery life. Mine only makes it 16-17 hours of heavy use. Heavy Whatsapp, other chats, and browser user (webmaster here).

Since the manufacturer provides estimated battery life 25 hours of combined use, I think you can still brag about great battery stamina.

Also, this is a beta, even an early one, battery life might improve as evolving into an official one.

I've loaded this on my Passport - no issues with it at all... so far- but it is not my daily driver- For that I have Verizon Classic running the latest 10.3.1.2726 with no issue and really "sick" battery life! I have followed this thread and 10.3.2.281 since haven't seen many Verizon classics on this release- can it be a daily driver ? I get the blacklisting risk here- I'm inclined to wait for a release over .1000 but the Passport seems fine-

    Thoughts?
I'm in a very similar situation. My Primary VZW Classic is running great on 10.3.1. I run my Passport on Consumer Cellular (AT&T MVNO - Two lines for $70/month-3GB shared data).

I'm Blitzing this OS on my Passport right now, will see how it works.

I can get 27-29 before the update.

But yeah, at least I do not need to bring any battery banks around.

BTW, anyone know which version of Android 4.x is compatible for Droid apps on 10.3? 4.3 or 4.4?

I had the same issue, had to reset the device using volume up and down keys and it works after that now flawlessly.

Radio signal on this OS is poor!

I sit comfortably inside a strong 4G area outside any device just gets the EDGE connection (at best) or SOS like pic below just now

When it was first released there were no options, now there are, that is what I was referring to. Meeting mode was useless to anyone who had multiple shared calendars on their devices, now you can pick and choose what triggers meeting mode.

    Z30STA100-3/10.3.2.500
I hope that survives to the final release. Events on my wife's shared calendar triggers meeting mode, but fortunately she has very few appointments.

It is very effective, you can select the option as per you need. One more thing you select battery mode for period when you're going to be busy or travelling or in night.that would delay your next charge period. Try it out

    Hi,

installed this version coming vom the latest official.
Activation with my work space is not possible - SSL communication refused.... please ask your administrator.
Server adress, port and login is correct.
I asked the administrator already, but he said " go back to the latest official"

    Any idea?
This worked for me and never have to ask my IT for activation codes.

Ensure your computer is logged into your company network. Turn on link. Connect your phone. My activation automatically starts.

Did you go from .281 first or jump from 10.3.1 directly to .500 ? I've seen where some recommended load .281 then 500. -

    Thanks!
    Yes that's the best way.
Doh! I went straight from 10.3.1 via Blitz.

Sorry to quote myself, but since others don't seem to be having this issue, I used Sachesi to reload the Core OS for 500 (unchecking the "new files only" box) and have rebooted a couple times. Not only does it still require entering the password after each reboot, it won't even take the PW the first couple of times, or until I turn off Protect then try to turn it on again. So I removed my Passport from Blackberry Protect on the Web, and then added in the Passport again, and it is there now, but still no change in the need to enter the PW on the Passport each time I reboot.

    Any ideas?

On a par with the best of the 10.3.1 Radio's if not slightly better

Loaded. 500 yesterday via the blitz package. Running great though the battery life seems a little less than. 2726. Going to give it a couple of days to see if it improves. If not i'm sure the next update will address it.
