Does the new OS update announced by RIM/BB yesterday fix this "cannot delete Google Apps" problem? BlackBerry 10.3.2 and BlackBerry Blend 1.2 Coming to All BlackBerry 10 Devices | Inside BlackBerry

I have downloaded the 2 bar files and this works perfectly as a stop gap but just wondering if the new OS update rectifies it (in which case, I can go ahead and update the OS)? Many thanks for the great work and help!

No change. It's the same OS. Android apps can still not be properly deleted.

I have an Android app called Twee. It used to work flawlessly, but after the OS upgrade, the data won't show up anymore. I tried to restore a backup (and reinstall the app), but still the same.

I can see traces of the data in the app, so I don't believe it is erased, but maybe it doesn't know where to look for the data in memory or the like?

    Any ideas?

Same issue. Android apps will not uninstall. Can still be opened through the Play Store.

Yup. As long as you don't ever need to delete them. Ever.

I used Sachesi to replace the two Android bar files (from 2813), did a hard reset, and all is well.
I am curious if these two files are a paired set. That is, install .231 or .348 together (mix and match at own risk).

As Conite says, as long as you don't have to delete them, no problem.

But--when I had the 2876 Android RT loaded, I found that the apps ran slower or not at all--I would get the bar going slowly across the screen with Android apps, even after reboots. Once I switched back to the 2813 Android RT, both problems disappeared. I suppose I could try again with the 2876 files, but I think I'll wait for a fix from BB, if there ever is one. It's amazing that they could release an OS with this bug.

I just uploaded this puppie yesterday on a sparkly new Duch T mobile device carrying 10.2..

    Fully wiped /nuked device

    Uploaded OS

    Installing bars as I rembered..

Is this OS including the anti theft feature stills??

Findings: This OS sucks and breaks the android player. Android apps are slow to open and cannot be uninstalled (icon disappears, but app still installed, so cannot be reinstalled).

Fixes: Go back to .2813 using Blitz file and Sachesi.

What it doesn't suit me well in this build is the antenna.

I will add it with other 2 bars from. 813.

The rest especially battery usage seems marvellous.

Installed this update via OTA on my BlackBerry Q10
    1. The phone is now very slow
    2. The Battery is worst.
    3. I think that the phone hangs while in idle mode. It was just lying on the table, when I check it, there was no display, could not wakeup the phone with power button, I had to remove and re-insert the battery.
This has happened 3 times in the last 8 hours.
