    2. Applications permission
3 hit app ,Turn OFF run when minimised.

What I was referring to is BB10 users who are seeing less battery life with this build vs other builds they've used with the same settings.

Certainly in a more general sense there are definitely things you can do to improve battery life which are well documented on these forums, including your post.

Just by how much battery life you get on a daily basis doing the same basic things with your phone.

How do I measure battery life?,just mention I"m not heavy user, don"t use much apps but very important battery life, radio signal, wifi, messaging, fast browsing, sometimes music.Installed twice 2339,first time Sachesi, now used autoloader, frankly the OS is fast but poor battery life on Q10,some drop call, high CPU usage,as I understood radio wasn"t stable not only for me,so tried different radio, first 841-didn"t see big difference but no drop calls, the same crazy CPU behavior, now installed 859 radio-Wi Fi is good, radio reception stable, but most important CPU % reduced on regular tasks like scrolling, open native apps and OS still the same fast.I used Sachesi, drag and drop Radio Bar file with no problem even the OS was installed with autoloader. When I make clean installation like autoloader don"t install or update any apps but check any time CPU % on battery monitor and this way can tell if this OS hungry or not for battery power.2234 and 841 Radios made CPU jump from 25% to 5% with no apps run in background,859 10% to 3% and looking the graph picks much lower.May be I am wrong but when see high system % of usage I know the CPU went crazy(up and down) and time to change something.

    Q10 day and feels good.

I wrote in on another thread but it looks like 2 bugs here causing potential bad battery life. Use BaSa to get a system baseline, really good app as mentioned above.

First bug, the new (and current) radio doesn't stay locked on signal as well so phone searches a lot more for signal, eating battery. Downgrading to 858 radio will work at the expense of disabling NFC.

Second bug ate a lot more battery for me. I was getting large system CPU spikes that appeared to be caused by bluetooth and would persist between reboots. Toggling bluetooth off and on stopped this from happening and even with the newer radio, my battery life is greatly improved.

Finally, settling takes at most a couple hours. I've never seen it take days, that's crazy talk.

Matrixval, the 876 build uses the radio from 799. Did you ever try that radio?

I've found the opposite to be true on this build. I'd have a couple of things you should look into, has it been installed via autoloader or non destructive via Sacchi? I ask because I personally feel autoloader is a clean and non destructive updates cause higher CPU usage (for me) and as a result, lessened battery life. There are other variables such as email syncing causing PIM services to go crazy, poor signal, the biggest offender is certain android apps running in the background.

Look under the device monitor and look on the CPU tab to check if PIM services usage is high, and also look for android apps under CPU and memory usage to see if they're running. Poor battery-screen-20150723-180844.png

Technarch, may be You are right I don"t know, and Radio 799 was the first 10.3.2 version I installed, using autoloader, this version made my Q10 to double type(840 or 858 the same) any where I tried, message, calendar, reminder and so on,most terrible to log in account,SO didn"t have chance to try it properly, but 2204 and higher no problem with typing and speed but only battery life get worse then 10.3.1.That is why (as advised) i am trying different Radio.
    EDIT:::::::I DIDN"T USE 799 Radio with 2339 but 859

ZeBB45,may be You are right, but when You read my post again You could see,I don"t use android apps, after installation (autoloader)no apps running in background,no emails, nothing just Wi Fi,browser, native apps,no BBM as well.By my opinion this way I can see the OS with no adds, bcs as I understand, the difference in apps we use or how we use, amount of apps, amount of apps every one allow to run in background, restore or not....we got different result after installation, but no we use the phone different way. When I say light user this mean only radio run all the time(24/7) and if I could save battery power or reduce it in this area then I succeed.Numbers You see in the monitor mean nothing, bcs all them based on previous usage, start something You didn"t use before and battery will die much fester, sorry for a long speech.

    Thought so.
That's the most unreliable way of comparing battery life between OS'es (unless you have a Groundhog Day everyday).
This is not apple to apple.
You would be surprised how your perceived "same usage every day" differs in reality, but you can only realise that by using BaSa that logs battery behaviour 24/7.

I have exactly the same problem, I installed a leak for a same day when was available first, and I hadn't have any problems but 2 weeks ago suddenly my battery start to drain and PIM services and SMS had huge consumption, I tried everything: autoloader, wipe, full and partial restore, no Gmail sinc, only 7 days email...but after that it looks like phone is settled and PIM services and other are inactive it start all again. In this moment I having the issue my phone is very hot and PIM services are working like crazy for couple of hours, I have same problem last night I left phone plugged and this morning was ok.
Can I downgrade using Sachesi? Poor battery-img_20150724_205929.png Poor battery-img_20150724_205942.png

you can, but it's not recommended.

PIM eating cpu usually only happens while OS is settling after a flash. That's weird!

Because OS is designed to handle upgrades not downgrades. If they add new functions and you downgrade you risk potential corruption.

You won't see any advice on forum here to do sachesi downgrade. If you want to try do a full backup.

i began experiencing poor battery (less than 8 hours) a few weeks after installing 2339. I installed new battery on my Z10 now back to 2 1/2 days. Life is good....

So do you say 2339 destroyed your battery? Same thing will happen to the new one in few weeks, your line of thinking suggests. Or did you downgrade as well?

no i did not downgrade. For now i assume it was a coincidence that my battery was older and dying. I guess i will know in a few weeks.

I had a similar problem with .2339, my usually great battery life on my z30 dropped to around 14 hours - usually I can get 18 - 20 hours depending on use. When I dropped back to the 841 radio, I got my battery life back. I do think the radio isn't as good though - it doesn't pick up a weak 4g signal where it used to before.
