    Really disappointing.
Seems BB has a kind of roadblock here. Really bad.

Oh what I am talking about is, just top down the top blind and tap "Brightness" it takes you to the "Display" panel of the settings. Swipe up and minimize it to an active frame. Drop the blind down again and tap "Device Monitor" and tap CPU and see ... on mine it is 12-14% CPU for settings when it is done like this.
    Hey Technarch,

My Z30 behaves similarly but after a little while the cpu usage comes to about 5%

May I ask if you have a radio file for Z3 (which is not found in OP)?
You must download the Autoloader, I don't upload the radio sorry

I have this combo OS, 2204 core OS and 840 radio and apps. This combo is good when it comes to battery, but my BlackBerry gets hot when browsing.

I just want your thoughts guys, is it worth loading this?

Any chance this fixes any of the following (Passport) issues:
    - Device Monitor always showing ~1GB too much in Memory Usage chart? (And maybe related memory issues where apps are Forced Closed for no apparent reason?)
    - Calendar crashing?
    - Contacts App not loading/showing ll BBM Contacts?
    - Picture Password cropping the bottom ~50 pixels off of any image you select? (If you set your number to the bottom edge in the set up, that spot ends up off-screen.)
    - Instant Previews occasionally showing random/wrong Contact icon?

(- Notification keyboard shortcut only switching between Norm/Silent? If that is even considered a "bug".)
(- Absent Small Active Frame for many stock apps like Remember?)

Feels like I've had those issues for forever, and I wish they would address at least one of them 'cause they are getting on my nerves.

Ive been having battery problems too with my Z30 on 10.3.2.2252, battery drains very fast even when Z30 is offline and not connected to WIFI, drops from 100% to 82% in 6 hrs or less.

Passport on 10.3.2.2204 was performing alright no where near 500 or 680 battery life.

Well its time for another Trial

I tried your test before, and my device monitor reported a current cpu system of 6-7% on 2252 and still does on 2339. (if we're doing the same thing).

Still an issue - whose issue it is, I do not know. However, you can use bing.com within the native browser, as it handles images much better anyway. Better yet, use Browsie Browser - it handles Google images very well.

The reason why I focused on the CPU usage regression I found is because in older versions including 840 the amount is 0%. My thought process is, if there is some sort of drain on the system in this one specific spot does it exist in other spots in the same manner impairing performance?

I'm experiencing the same thing: battery drain is faster on 2252 than on 2204 on my Z30; anyway, Android runtime seems working better. I think I'll try this new leak for the battery although I will keep 840 radio that is, without any doubts, the best
