I'm still on the hybrid, with the 841 radio and 2339 core OS and apps. Once I get through the business day today, I'll load in the 2340 radio and report back after a day or two on the battery life.
Ok cool...look forward to hearing your opinion

I'll probably do the opposite and see!

How do I make Blend work on this build? Mine always says "Please update BlackBerry Blend with the latest version at blackberry.com/blend" which I already did but still won't connect with my Passport.

You most extract the apps from the debrick file. The put the core, radio and extracted apps in one folder you create on your desktop, C drive, ....
Then drag and drop the created folder in the install tab of sachesi. Done.

    Not quite:

4a. Extract signed from the debrick

4b. Extract apps from the file created from the previous step

4c. Put all the extracted apps, core and radio bars in the same folder

If people bothered to do a simple search before asking questions, they would find the info they're looking for. And if they can't understand the simple instructions, then they probably shouldn't be installing anything on their phones.

Quick question on a side note. If I were to upgrade my Z30 from OS 10.3.2.640 to this one, would that be beneficial at all? If so, how and in what way. Thanks.

Now that everyone is intoxicated on update overdose and waiting for more, I'm wondering when Ontario will start charging for updates. I could see a scenario where security fixes would be free but function and performance updates would be by subscription for $1.99 - $3.99.

Coming soon to a BlackBerry World near you?

Dear Sir, I am not sure If I can accept you one sentence answer. I think I am past this point I my life to go with 1 liners. Since I read your title as CrackBerry Genius of Geniuses, would you kindly stand up to this occasion and provide me/us CrackBerry Addicts with 5000 words proper explanation on the subject? I will accept no less. Thanks.

Download and extract the latest version: Darcy's BlackBerry Tools - BlackBerry Forums at CrackBerry.com

Then download core and radio for Z30 from the first post, as well as all apps newer than 680. Once downloaded, extract the apps, and put the core and radio in that folder. Start Darcy's BB Tools, click on installer, click on add folder, then find the 680 apps folder and click OK. Then plug in your phone, wait till it connects, type your password if you use one, and log in, then click install bar files. Should install 197 files. Takes a while so be patient. That's the best answer you're gonna get, even though that isn't what you were asking, this build is just better in every way. Your choice if you install it or not.

Every single user has a different experience, so it's hard to put into words, especially 5000, so the best thing to do is load it and try it to see if you like it. If you don't like it you can always go back the the OS you're on .

It's a easy process and quicker than trying to explain every little detail to what makes this better than any other.

Ps: my first was response was going to be no. Lmao

And when for the first time, from the beginning of times, or at least from the beginning of CB, someone with a great skill and knowledge, not to mention beautiful, original and like no other title of CBG of G, is given the most amazing opportunity of all, to fulfill us all, unworthy members of CB with a lousy request of 5000 words explanation on this legit question, we are getting this 80 words? I don't even know how to describe my disappointment. No more likes and thanks for you. OK, OK, maybe just one a month for the time being till you consider making it right. Now, forgive me, I have to go and jump off from the nearest bridge in shame and disappointment.

I second that, with greater No of post count comes the greater responsibility !!
But really, this is intriguing and funny at the same time how, people having almost same apps and running same OS version report differing issues and bugs. This is something very unique to a Blackberry. Am sure it is very much possible to pin point the reason why two different bugs get reported on same OS after it is subjected to forensic test but we cant have that just by typing out. This is where WITHDRAWL is largely coming from. In the meanwhile getting the drift of latest OS and how it flows out is very subjective and sometime the fine nuances are hard to put in words. I guess you have to accept most of fact finding posts on face value and deduce your own experience from generic views.
