SIC multiwipe causes problems on 10.3.2, and is useless anyway.

Yes, once on 10.3.2, there is no going back. You won't want to anyway.

    Thank you.

Are there any precautions that need to be taken into consideration, excluding the backup?

I want to use Sachesi and the 'complete' firmware (1,4 GB) from BitCasa.

Do I need to upload one ore more files using Sachesi?

Sorry, but this is the first time I'll be using this software.

    Kind regards
the bitcasa file is an exe. file what is an autoloader. Running the autoloader will whipe your phone complete. Before running the autoloader back up your media and apps (except the blackberry runtime ) with BB link.Back up your contacts with back upp pro or ultimate backup to your sd card or a cloud aplication like dropbox , one drive, .... After running de autoloader go true the setup completely . Connect your phone to your pc with usb cable and restore the backup you made previous with BB link.
Then you still have to set up your phone settings and accounts. Restore your contacts back with the app you used to back them up.
With sachesi you need the debrick file and correct radio and core for your device. You can find all the files in the first post. Extract the apps from the debrick wit darcy's tools or sachesi. Put the core, radio and apps in one folder .
Conect your phone with your pc, open sachesi and click the install tab. Drag and drop the folder with core radio and apps in the installtab and let sachesi does his magic.
You can download the blitz file to and put this in the install tab from sachesi.

There are. Sms, BBM, browsing, updating apps thru BlackBerry World and Google Playstore. And use the phone when Passport is charging.

Many people report a -006 security wipe failure error, leading to a reboot cycle.

    I don't use it myself.

Security wipe does nothing to the contacts on your SIM. I do security wipes a lot and my SIM Card is always in the device and I've never had an issue of missing contacts.

I am. Every time I restart my phone. It says something about VVM STATUS. I was getting it before I installed this OS though.

Anyone else not seeing the option for "Open in">>>"Music Player", when you long press an audio file in the file manager or in Assistant? I'm seeing other apps listed like Neutron and MX Player but not Music Player. I uninstalled Neutron and MX Player and the "Open in" option completely disappeared and yes, I've tried a hard reset and also a power down then power on. I'm on a Passport.

Another new finding: I long pressed a link in the browser tapped Open In, and Browser is not in the list. Other browsers are in the list though. Could this be a bug or is this some sort of cleaning up of redundancies? Anyone else notice this?

Does anyone have a preference with regards to battery performance on this new build on the Passport?

Kenv54, I know you had a hybrid which I tried and the 840 radio was good. What's you experience with the new build radio in comparison?

Currently running 10.3.2.2339. Updated non destructively over 840. Passport

    Thanks in advance

I'm still on the hybrid, with the 841 radio and 2339 core OS and apps. Once I get through the business day today, I'll load in the 2340 radio and report back after a day or two on the battery life.

Could you post and provide a single link of the Core file only please?
