FWIW, I upgrade to 10.3.1.938 and my proximity detector no longer works on phone calls. It is fine on the BlackBerry Test program.

I have the top button set up to turn the screen on and off. You may want to do that until the problem is fixed.

Did it only stop working once update was done? And have you ever replaced the screen ?

Yes it stopped after the update.

The screen is stock. I have a tempered glass protector on it. The protector wasn't an issue.

FWIW, my proximity detector now works. Possibly a reboot fixed it.

I can't speak for the proximity detector hardware first hand, but basically most sensors need a bit of programming upon boot. That is much of what a driver does on a computer. So the boot is what might have loaded the right data in the registers of the detector. (To keep cost down, the sensors don't have non-volatile memory.)

Maybe a hard reboot? Just hold both vol up/down at the same time

    Z10 - 10.3 - STL 100-1
Don't know what's wrong with my Z10 but I can't hard reboot it. Like, I've held volume up/down pressed for even 5 minutes but nothing other then screen shot.

You can use the top button to do a reboot.
