I'm just browsing through but I thought this might be relevant... from another thread: http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...l#post11403386

I have just received a response by BlackBerry about the battery issue. They say they have fixed the issue internally but don't know yet when the update will be available.

    Thank you!.

Indeed, this looks like an issue at BlackBerry's side, because this batter drain also happens the Pebble official app (Android app).

I wonder besides Pebble, will this battery drain impact other blue-tooth devices? It's good if BlackBerry share the details.

I hope this will be patched together with the infamous screen flickering issue with 10.3.1. So little time, so many bugs to fix, BlackBerry.

They usually bundle a bunch of bug fixes into a maintenance release a few weeks after a major version upgrade is released... They have to time these things carefully because they have to release to the carriers and make sure they release it to their customers, so I can imagine they'd like to keep the frequency of updates at a minimum if they can help it.

I loaded the 2480 patch that solves the flickering but it does not fix the battry drain issue on the pebble

    Hello Rick,
    Thanks for the additional information.
Our Pebble app does not currently support LE (Low Energy) state on Android devices in order to maintain support for many of the older Android devices still currently in use that lack Bluetooth LE capabilities.

While we are likely to change this in the future as more devices implement this feature, we don't have a definite plan on when to do so at this time.
    Best regards,

The .2480 Os with the latest T2W Pro update Version: 30.0.2.5 is the only combination to date in the 10.3.1 OS's that is giving me "good" battery life, about 20-25% per day drain with the Pebble. Don't know why some are good and some aren't, but definite improvement for me.

The way I see it we are waiting for one of two to happen. Either BlackBerry gives us an option to disable SIPP/sniff (low power mode my @$$) or Pebble gives us an option to enable SIPP/sniff. Basically our Pebbles know awake or asleep, they don't understand "resting our eyes". So when our Bluetooth connections take a quick nap and the Pebbles freak out and sound the alarm and reconnect which takes more energy then staying connected and only waking up the Bluetooth connection if there is something to talk about.*

I have the exact same combo and I only get 16 hrs now out of my Pebble whereas before I could get 5 days. That's of course with T2W open, if I disconnect I would get the 5 days.

    Here the trick!
Replace curent 10.3.1 os 's bluetooh bar with 10.3.0.1418, it could help!
Running like this for 2 day, and it just drain 30% of pebble's battery. And the bluetooth function of phone still work properly
I use Passport with Pebble steel
If you need an detail instruction, just let me know!

They might have fixed the issue. Still at 100% on my Pebble after 5 hours on 2558, it would be down to at least 70-80% by now.

Yep, mine is looking much better. Less than 10% drop after 6 hrs, it was dropping 10% an hour

5 hours already and im still at 70% (not coming from a hundred % charge ). Crossing my fingers for a correct 3 day life as the battery app is stating.

Unless something happens, I'm staying on 10.3.1.2558. Almost 12 hours and my Pebble is still at 70%, same place it started the day. I'll report back in a week, or sooner if it fails again.

10.3.1.2558 looks to have revived the Pebble Batteries.
