EDIT: Issue seems fixed with 10.3.1.2558.

I have noticed that on the 3 versions I've tried that devices connected 10.3.1 have a MUCH shorter battery life. Both my Pebble and Jabra headset go from 3-4 days to charge every day. I went back 10.3.0 and the battery was back to normal. I have seen others post about this in the Talk2Watch Pro thread so I know I'm not too crazy.

    Huh, weird.

I have a Pebble on 10.3.1.1151 and not only is my battery life better on it, but I no longer get random BT disconnects. It's been connected for two days without a disconnect or running out of battery. Also using T2W Pro along with the headless callerID app.

Getting about 3 days battery life with it.

My self and a few others are also having the same battery drain issue with our pebbles and T2W on 10.3.1.

We figured it was with the bluetooth in the new os leaks as a user still using 10.3 wasn't having the same issue.

You've giving us something else to look for Puck.

Re Pebble: let the watch battery die at least twice and recharge to 100% and if possible do a factory reset on it, that fixed the Pebble battery issue for me.

OP none of my Bluetooth devices are discharging faster on 10.3.1

I use a bluetooth headset a LOT and have seen no problem with it being drained more-rapidly.

Did the battery drain on your pebble even if it wasn't connected? Even with bluetooth on, if it's not connect to my phone it will last days. But once that connection is made...

Nevertheless, I will try your suggestion. Hope it works for me .

Did you do the factory reset before or after draining (training) the battery twice?

I haven't had any issues myself, but it's worth trying a different radio. 10.3.1.997 seems to be highly recommended.

I am also having problems with my pebble battery, did you factory reset it? If so, how did you set it up afterwards? Android app on BlackBerry, or with an ios device? Any inconvenience you can offer is appreciated, charging every day is driving me to distraction.
    Thanks

I always use autoloaders and manually reinstall the apps, I have 2 Z10s that I switch off updating(BT battery life has been the same with both phones) . If my Pebble is not connected to my phone, the battery is good for a couple of days. I usually let the battery get to 10% or 20% before I charge it, last night I let it shut it's self off. I've had the Pebble connect for about 2 hours and it is at 90% already, with just 2 notifications. I'm going to let it die again tonight and do another full charge.

Now that I think about it, about two weeks ago my Pebble battery was draining crazy fast. I thought it was because of the Starbucks App I had left refreshing (thought it got stuck refreshing), and it completely died when I was at work.

I charged it over night and since then it has been great - easy 3 days. Maybe there is something to letting it drain then doing a full charge to reset the battery?

Well I worked the Pebble twice all the way past the "final warning" and to the blank screen. Each time only took a day. I charged all the way to 100% both times, today I didn't connect it to my BlackBerry and at bedtime it shows 90%.

How long does a Pebble take to factory reset?

    FYI Z10STL100-3/10.3.1.1154
    And Pebble is 2.8

Factory reset only takes a few minutes to complete, then a few minutes to set the watch back up again

OK thanks for the tips. A factory reset seems to be the fix. Connected all day with notifications and setting it back up and my Pebble is rocking 80% battery.

Well I spoke too soon. After the first three day run, now it's back to 1 day when connected to my Z10STL100-3/10.3.1.1154. If u get time this weekend I'm going back to 10.3.0 and try it again.

OK same phone, same watch, same watch faces, only difference now I'm running Z10STL100-3/10.3.0.1418 and my pebble is back to 3 to 4 days of battery life. On ANY of the 10.3.1 I was lucky to get a day and a half.

Back to 10.3.0 for some testing

Tried 10.3.1.2072 and did a factory reset and I'm only getting a day of battery. Starting to wonder if BlackBerry is intentionally trying to make our phone incompatible with accessories.

EDIT: I deleted T2W Pro and connected with just the Pepple app and the battery didn't last a day. So there is something in the 10.3.1 radio files.

    Let's see how 10.3.1.2072 ‎treats my Pebble.

Now that the official 10.3.1 update is out I upgraded my Passport and have this issue, Pebble battery only lasts about 16 hrs vs 5 days before the update. I tried all the suggestions above but no luck. It must have something to do with the Bluetooth radio file in the new release.

This is a bigger issue for me than the occasional screen flicker that just showed up after 4 days.

Same here! The issue is real.

I upgraded to PassportSQW100-1/10.3.1.2243. Since then my Pebble can't last longer than a day. I have tried both talk2w and official Pebble app.

How may this get overlooked? This thread was started back in Nov. Not to mention the flickering issue...

    Is there any workaround?

    Thank you.
