I would be interested in how you will do a non-destructive upgrade with these files as that is the same situation I am in. I have 10.3.0.1418 and want to do a non-destructive upgrade to 10.3.1.800.

    Thanks.
    Hi,
    Same steps like others
    - download 3 files : radio, core / upgrade and debrick
    - unzip the debrick file, extract signed file
    - run sachesi, extract apps from the signed file. There will be new folder containing bar apps
    - move radio and core file to above folder
    - from sachesi again, use install from folder
    - and wait
    - when it's complete, the device will reboot itself

Nifty. Security wipe on10.3.1.800 is telling me what it's doing, with a green progress bar just like the boot process blue one. Also, a finger press on the screen switches to percentage. Quite quick too - in the time it took to open Firefox, navigate to this thread, and type this post it reached 30%.

Edit: and done in just over half an hour.

Bedside mode doesn't work in this Os either does it? I loaded 821 but if this one has bedside mode...
No luck with this one either.

    None of the settings save.
You can't change sort order, enable dark settings, toggle filters etc.
I had that issue too. That's why I decided to run the autoloader. All good now.

    Hey Conite - two questions:

    1) What OS were you on before trying nondestructive (and had the contacts settings problems)?

    2) Now that you have done autoloader - dark setting for contacts is working fine?

    Thanks!

    I came from 10.3.1.632.

After non-destructive, my Z10s had the non-stick dark contact problem (but not the Z30), and my Z30 would not allow me to select and edit notifications (but the Z10s were ok).

After running the autoloader, everything works on all my devices.

I originally did a nondestructive upgrade to 10.3.1.821 from 10.3.0.1418
Resulting in the issue wherever contact settings won't save.

I just finished upgrading non destructively to 10.3.1.800 from 821 (loaded core, radio and the 13 newer apps from 800), my contacts settings work now.

My biggest issue with 821 and 800, stay awake+flip to save power conflict. I think stay awake might be too sensitive? Not sure, but when stay awake is enabled, flip to save power doesn't work consistently. With stay awake turned off, flip to save power works reliably.

Instant previews don't always work (can't select the text box).. and I think the old color scheme looked better :P

Yeah the debrick has the apps in it. You use the 'Extract Apps' button. But I guess I have to make this easier

xsacha -- did you ever find a STL100-4 radio. I'm successfully using the 2/3/4 radio now, but always like using the verizon specific radio if possible. Thanks.

You have to split the debrick file first. Then extract the apps from the ".signed" file.

Edit: To clarify, Sachesi can split the debrick.

Either change the debrick extension (rename) from .bar to .zip and right click > extract it

Or better yet, download tool from 7-zip.org and use that. You'll probably use it in the future for os's compressed to 7zip (.7z) format anyway

Okokayy yeah, you're right. The "extract signed" button does the job. For some reason I was under the impression it only worked for autoloaders.
Probably because I'm used to extracting the apps from the debrick bar using darcytools (without extracting the signed file first)

These aren't the autoloader links are they.

.821 keeps wiping my phone every time I restart

Thought I'd try my luck with this one.

If you're already running 821, might want to try to fix your problems by putting the 13 newer bars from 800 + 800 core + 801 radio in a folder (15 bars altogether) and installIng it.
This will upgrade you to 800.

This didn't work. I don't think the issue is the apps. Is there any auto loaders around for .800?

Edit: Actually wait. I did not install the core and radio. Only the apps. However, it is giving me an error when trying to install the other 2.

I am using the BB10 App Manager Chrome Extension method to load my bars.

Try sachesi for for os bars,1.9.9 for Windows / linux
If on a mac use 1.9.5

Sachesi performs bar installs via system update (no development mode required), whereas chrome uses development mode.
