    For QC8960
    - apps in .2582 are same as .2576
    - OS files in .2582 are same as .2576
changed only version files .. (/etc/load.timestamp,/etc/os.version,/seed/rootfs/.rootfs.os.version,/seed/rootfs/.rootfs.pps.version,/seed/rootfs/var/pps/system/installer/coreos/0)
    - Radio files for Z10 both platform are identical also (except version files)
    - Radio files for Z30 are identical also (except version files and file /etc/sv.numbers)

Result for models based on QC8960: leaks .2576 and .2582 are same

PS: done in 15 minutes. Extract via sachesi, then use diff under my awesome Linux. Easy ..
Thanks a lot, but what about the Passport, which is based on QC8974? Can you do the same comparison and tell us what are the differences please?

    @NRB Yes, my bad.
Maybe .2582 is only for Z30? Noticed OTA is released only for this device or i'm wrong again?
    Hello,
I'm wondering that my self. Is . 2582 really made for other devices besides the Z30.
I was asking around the forum if someone owning a Z10 or some other devices that is not the Z30 had received the update but nobody has responded.

Dump the Boot partitions from each file and then compare. Have suspicion that's where the difference is.

I have .2582 running on my Passport, installed via Sachesi and it is without doubt the best OS I have used.

I suspect that it is probably .2576 which has been pushed OTA to unlocked Passports with a couple of Z30 bug fixes.

Whatever it is, it is a good one.

I don't have any problems with last update. Receive OTA update. Also Advanced Interactions starts to work. Only one problem : keyboard still noise when you turn of 'Feedback '...

I have 2582 on my Passport. I have noticed some heat on long calls just behind the side physical keys. It goes away when the call is over pretty quickly. Anyone else notice that or have a different report from a different version?

I have to say though that battery life seems better than 2558. But that's anecdotal... I was upgrading the OS so fast I didn't do any major testing.

That's normal, anytime the phone is used that area usually gets hot.
    It's where the cpu is

PassportSQW100-1/10.3.1.2576, I got this OTA on my unlocked passport.

I have a Passport and upgraded to 2576 and I notice my phone got so hot while calling. Later I got 2582 and everything is good now. I don't know why but it was like that.
I had the same experience with my Passport. Hot or warm with the first one and cool as a cucumber with the second.
    But then:

It is now third day on 2582. Battery drainage is much more and during calls, it is getting hot. Browser is also hanging beyond 2 tabs. Whether other users are experiencing same?

Admittedly I don't actually use the phone functionality on this thing much, but I updated to .2576 last night and immediately noticed today that after barely a minute on a call, the phone got very hot under my ear (basically around the speaker). It cooled off fast once the call was done, but makes me think .2582 might be preferable -- or it did until I read @prithvi64 and @CharlieV#AC also reporting heat on .2582

    Hmmm.....

Same on Z30 coming from .2243 official, Blitzed to .2582.

On .2243 I had more than 50% left after 15 hours and now after 7 hours off the charger it's down to 27% and I'm charging right now.

I'll try the SIC multi wipe and then install the autoloader to 2582. If it's the same I'll restore with link in the hope it's going to be better.

Releasing a latest OS doesn't just involve a version number. There must be a difference compare to the other previous builds otherwise no need for using version numbers.

Though my reply doesn't answer your question but this is just my opinion.

I go also for the latest build.

The latest version seems much smoother to me... including android apps, tho I'm not sure why that would be. I was having issues with Blend and the device running hot on the last version, which are resolved now

I did the update to 10.3.1.2558 on Friday the 13th and I can tell you that I probably had the best weekend to this point on battery drain on my Z30. I did a Sachesi to 2576 on Monday and then the same to 2582 and noticing the battery use has increased but everything seems to work normally. Would be interested to hear if an autoloader to 2582 and restore brings you any better battery consumption. Please keep us updated...

Yes it is, but simply be sure to install the appropriate Radio bar file for your BB model. When I downloaded .2582 to my Passport, it was super smooth via Sachesi. Cheers!!

Did it non-destructively on a Q10 SQN100-1 that had 2558/2559 previously. So far so good.
